@sportsportsport . after seeing alot through our old guitar store. it has become easier and easier to. one thing i noticed is the neck binding, if you compare a USA to a custom shop, you can easily tell the difference, the usa binding is a bit thicker. call me crazy haha, but i can just look at one from a distance and tell you, Custom shops just have the look and the standards have their look. and the Custom shops usuall have alot better wood grain
@Krisrofferpence When I say 'difference', I mean a difference in terms of a guitarists perspective i.e neck feel ... pick up quality, tone .. build quality ... not necessarily just based on looks...Thanks for replying =)
@sportsportsport . ahh. got you on that one. In my personal opinion, I love the tone of the custom shops, most USA pickups are probably the burstbucker pros in all the standard Les Pauls or 57 Classics. but neck feel of Custom shops compared to standards is very different. the standards tend to feel a bit flatter. the custom shops are better rounded I think. most all my les pauls do not have stock pickups. the Burstbuckers are Ok. in my 1960 i have Seymour Duncan antiquities. my 59 has sheptones
@sportsportsport . haha. we dealed them too. i love PRS. there was one that I loved. a gold top with i believe seymour duncan p-90s. those are fantastic guitars. but I am kind of sad to say that I have never owned one. but now you have me thinking again! hah
i am sorry can i ask do you sell guitars because when i looked at your website it didn't show it so do you just have a massive collection.

There are many but the important ones are wood quality, thin "nitro" laquer and "Long Tenon" construction.
