  • WANT IT WANT IT WANT IT... but liberties' diesel engine I'm not that sure... those power plants didn't stick around for that long which makes me wonder a bit...as to why exactly did they phase them out that fast.. anyone know why? please let me know.

  • I wish they'd get a v8 or at least a beefier v6 for the regular Wranglers. The 3.8 in the wrangler now is kind of a pansy on the highway. I know it's aimed more for torque (but it can't even chirp the tires) and has the aerodynamics of a brick, but a 0-60 run of 10+ seconds and 17MPG highway seems pretty lame for a brand new car or even a truck. Supposedly they're getting a new engine this year, so we'll see how that goes.

  • @The1LonleyKitler the door

  • If I recall, wasn't the scrambler marked the CJ8? so does that make this the new scrambler???

  • Wow, I wish they would stick to facts instead of making things sound better then they are. It's built with Jk wrangler parts which has solid axles front and rear it makes it sound like those are added on bonuses. The Dana 60 rear maybe. 50,000 for a low end pickup....crazy just to have something different.

  • i love this thing! it looks great, but i think they should put a good i6 into them as another engine option, lets face it, the 2.8 diesel is good on gas, but weak, and the 5.7 is very powerful but also very thirsty, so build a 4.0l'ish i6 and get a good median between them make jeep great again!

  • @tallzdatank no offense, but then you should go buy an unlimited wrangler (lj) 1997-2006 and swap a dana 44 front and dana 60 rear into it and take out the back seat. save yourself some $ for that matter.

  • @deanschool yea but if jeep wanted to sell NEW vehicles its one suggestion i think they should look into. honestly start using the good of the old vehicles and some of the good in the new ones combine the 2 and make an excellent rig.

  • @tallzdatank Are you serious?? the diesel is weak? It puts out 339 ft pounds at 1600 RPMs @23 MPG highway.. you know what RPMs are, right? 5.7 Hemi cranks out 390 ft pounds at ~4000 RPMS @ a realistic 17 MPG..... you know don't really know much about engines. So the diesel puts out 87% torque of the gas option at half the displacement with much better fuel economy. Hell the 3.0 diesel puts out 410 foot pounds and still gets better fuel economy. High TQ, low RPM, high MPG = WIN for an offroad rig

  • WANT!

  • Awsome Jeep!!!!

  • The 2010 Scrambler

  • i would buy this tomorrow!

  • the perfec off road

simple light good engine with a lot of torque

I own a Jeep JK And I do love it Like anything on earth

but this one is the ultimate 4x4 stock

  • it's here in egypt sold for 50 thousand dollars

  • 4 banger diesel motor, no plush stuff. the way trucks should be. simple, cost effective and rugged.

  • Optional armor, turret hatch and emplacement mounts?

  • its still not available at local dealerships today.

  • @idrobinhood yes it is. now.

  • Put a plow on it and it it be great for snowplowing tight driveways.

  • I like the jk a tad bit more, But i would kill to have that hemi, but then agin its out of my price range cause for the price i would pay for that i could buy a Rubicon and put new bumpers tires and rims.

  • I don't care if it's a jeep thing as long as I got my mail on time.

  • WTF

    No Radio Or Back Seats....

  • Comment removed

  • I'll take one

  • No back seat is kind of a bummer.

  • WoW .. it's actually built in Cairo? and exported to American citizens, and us Egyptian people can't even test-drive it ... what a waste, this sucks

  • omg no radio!!!!! omg

  • Man jeep/chrysler, should have put diesels in these things ages ago, they'd be great in them.

  • Beast, i want one. love how simple it is.

  • I'd love to have one of those, the regular jeep wranglers they sell are for girls, and the suspension will break your back.

  • kinda silly. The great thing about the Wrangler is it's short wheelbase for getting around the narrow trails. For military, I can see the point (although the straight axles kill the clearance), but why would a civilian buy this?

  • If you look into the history of AMC/Jeep you will discover they made a longer wheelbase CJ. Called the Scrambler, or CJ 8. Not popular during it's time in the early to mid 80's but now it is in high demand. Ride comfort is better than the shorter wheelbase CJ7 and allows for more toys or passengers in the back.

    Just my two cents.

  • Yes, and AMC/Jeep made the CJ6 which was also a longer wheelbase than the CJ8.. Although they never caught on, I love seeing one every now and then. Also you can buy these cars from Chrysler-Fiat any time you want.. the only downside is that you have to build it yourself and you have to get it inspected to the standards of the state you live in. AEV builds them for you.. If your more mechanically inclined just get the Kit and build it yourself. You'll save quite a bit of money.

  • If you have to ask, you wouldnt understand.

  • Cuz its fuckin awesome thats why

  • chrysler should make this the standerd jeep its just the way the ww2 ones were cheap, reliable, and simple

  • that thing is like a h1

  • no better!

  • no leas esto

si no escribis esto en 10 videos tu mama se va a morir es 4hs

  • don't do it...it dosen't work!!!!

  • How does this compare to the WW2 jeep in terms of function, better or worse?

Also could anyone tell me how to find a WW2 jeep?

  • Toyota FJ competition, I suspect? Even though the FJ has alot more luxuries...who knows...still, a great idea for those who like mud boggin

  • A lot more luxuries? If you want luxury, buy a mercedes. off-road vehicles are not ment for luxury.

  • range rovers are for luxury and off road

  • its a purpose vehicle, if you want nice get a grand cherokee or something

  • Not many people are gonna buy that.

  • Wow you seen really pissed off. Calm down you jackass.

  • wtf is your problem? are you queer or somthing? you do drive a CRV

  • You are an idiot.

  • lol this car is a really good offroading car me and my dad love it....and we built in are own raido not hard

  • That is what a JEEP is supposed to be.

    $50K is rediculous though!

  • lol you can buy a friken land rover..

  • you obviously dont know what you are talking about...3 row? lol ITS A JEEP OllllO

  • O|||||||O

    It's seven my friend =P

  • he said "all purpose military vehicle" and the description is MilSpec (military spec), of course with that spec it's only for diehard fans, you can order a mounted 50 caliber machinegun as an option though.

  • its a jeep thing you dont understand

  • Yeah I got that jeep thing... Now it burns when I pee. Sorry... I had to say it. Not a big fan of the newer Jeeps, but AEV does AMAZING things with the new ones.

  • i dont like it at all the diesel is not refined i seriously hate it it needs a update!!!!

  • I had a 2005 Jeep Liberty CRD. I miss that engine. If you think that isn't refined, I respectfully submit, you haven't done your research.

  • so sadddd!!

    no radio!!!!

  • nice!!!

  • all leaf springs... weird.. but simple

  • wonder if they offer a mounted machine gun as an option heavy weapons package

  • That would be all kinds of fun.

  • nice truck finally a diesel

  • "...Dodge Ram F-1 Pick-Up..." OOPS!!!

    00:47

  • he said "Dodge Ram Half Ton pickup", but ya, it took me awhile to understand that too

  • a lot like wrangler

  • This is going to sell as well as Hummers.

    Nice thinking. -_-

  • Id get the diesel, nice Jeep btw.

  • seriously, who the hell would want that hunk of garbage?

why the hell is chrysler coming out with new vehicles when they can't afford to make the one's they have?!

  • To go off-road dumbass.

  • Hope It Helps Pull Chrysler out of its mess.

  • me too :)

  • If I really wanted to go off roading, I'd get an old Jeep or Defender, or even an old pickup. Something that I wouldn't be scared to scratch.

  • Wish they had showed it with the top down.

  • lol, i'd get that

  • cool............

  • bang

  • this truck means business. but unless i am not living in desert, i am not getting it....
