  • They are from Africa and I enjoyed watching this video, the statement about indecent exposure, please we see more indecent exposure everyday on TV. No one has been slap with a fine for that. Walk on the street you see more that we need to.

  • 1 LOVE ...The ZULU Familly Of Gothenburg...

  • beautiful i need undestand what they sing can somebody translate(umoja) to me? thank

  • @zenamy2 umoja = the spirt of togetherness

  • Loved this show when it was In New Zealand, the lullaby song brought me to tears

loved it and reminds me of Ipi Tombi alot!!

  • Wonderful show!

  • I've just come from the Umoja show in Dubai (where the ladies were NOT bare-breasted LOL), and the show was as amazing as it the previous comments indicate it has been elsewhere around the world. It's two hours of high-energy dancing, singing, and drumming. The most joyfully exuberant show i've ever seen. Fantastic choreography, extraordinarily versatile performers. Magical, wondrous, not-to-be-missed. I would see it again and again.

  • Umoja was amazing.i've never seen anything so wonderful i hope they come back to canada again. That was just an uplifting show with beautiful tribal dancing and Zulu druming.

  • The Umoja show now is in Madrid,Spain.I saw them two times and I thing I´m going to the show maybe two times more.Very sweet powerful and uplifting show...how sweet look the Zulu female dancers dancing bare breast tribal style! How powerful look the Zulu male drummers and dancers! How uplifting and touching is the music! Sweet very sweet and tender Africa in this Umoja show.

  • I just got back from vacation in South Africa, and I saw this group live in Jo'burg at their new theatre building. Their performance was simply AMAZING - I haven't seen anything like it in a long time!. Best show ever - you have to be there to fully understand. I heard they were in Canada sometime back - I pray they come here again.

  • yeah they sell a CD - brilliant production value. the click song is definitely incredible. perhaps you can try itunes or amazon.

as for the DVD, i finally got my hands on that - it's not very good in terms of production, still good to watch though. but yeah, nothing beats the live performance - i saw it in london three times...life-changing show!!

  • I was able to see their performance when they were in Atlanta several months ago. What a great show it was! I hope one day they'll come back to the U.S.!

  • @esquirestubbs Paradise Road

  • south african music is soo beautiful

    i recommend mafikizolo she's awsome

  • I think those saying that the word "umoja" belongs to so and so should get it right. I don't speak Zulu or Xhosa, but in swahili which I speak, umoja means united and 1 (no) is moja. When we are together in a group we say: tuko pamoja. When we are united in a course we say: tuna umoja. I hope this clarifies some misunderstandings here. Nobody is trying to hijack the show. By the way I watched it in Germany and loved it, it was amazing. I was particularly happy singing along and saying "umoja":

  • i watched it it like my home country south africa i swear it is like south africa on brodway you should all see it i give 100000 stars omg i have to see it again you must watch this before you die

  • That was Ipi Tombi or Ipi Ntombi. The original show that opened back in the mid 70's. Actually it was the first show that broke the color barrier in South Africa. Whites and blacks sat together, wonderful huh? The song your looking for is Mama Tembu's wedding, which you can type in the search and hear on You Tube. Also you can hear Ipi Tombi as well. :)
