The reason I defend Macs is because there's no reason not to. You don't like them? Don't use them.

"PC is better, you can play games and do more stuff!" There are also Mac-Only applications. For media, Mac Pro is the winner. Gaming and everything else, I'll take a PC any day.

Most laptops are able to do that, if you want, high details, high textures, high anti aliasing, and beyond 1080p gaming on those games an alienware will do the trick. Depending on configuration of course. M17x $2500-2600 with shipping and all that crap, could even play CRYSIS on high and be playable.
