But factor in Lemieuxs ability to score 90-100 assists? this is not even remotely fucking close in the slightest.

Ovechkin and/or Crosby scoring on a rebound, or Lemieux deking through three opponents while they hack away at him, then proceeding to score as if completely untouched? This confirms that Gretzky was alone, but he was so good that he made every one around him better. As an example, he helped Dave Lumley get the 5th longest goal scoring streak in NHL history with 12 games with at least a goal (Gretz assisted on most of them), and the funny thing is that Lumley has 98 career goals.
