This is great history lesson. How about them text-message thumbing, Koolade-sipping, fist-bumping, Luda-loving, Obama-swooning teenagers getting a load of this class-room for a change!
the chicago political sewer rat stole the election from AA Sen.Alice Palmer in '96 and now he stole the nomination from the popular vote winner Sen. Hillary Clinton!
Come November, obamarama will be over and the Ludacris song's lyrics will be trashed like the man they support
I don't think Dean and Pelosi can play fair, that is why everyone that was involve in this farce of an election should not be re-elected or maintain their current positions in the democrat party, I for one will never vote for Osamabama, if Hillary comes out of the convention as the nominee, I will be glad to cast my vote for her, if not... it will be McCain I cast my vote for!
So just because you do not like how this went down you will vote for a man that has lobyist ties? Has the same policy as bush? just got 800K in money from gorgia to go at russa? You need to read the facts of their policys not because your little feelings are hurt.
"Superdelegates" are there to make sure that the regular nobody citizen Democrats don't have a final say in who their nominee is, via that outdated notion of "one-man-one-vote." That's the neo-Liberal Communist way.
I also find it interesting that people say Hillary and McCain don't have anything in common. both Hillary and McCain voted for the "born alive infants act" while obama voted to have the child die. he might as well be standing there with a meat cleaver in his hand.
What Obama voted on in the state legislature was not the same bill that the Senate voted on in 2002. Many would not have voted for the bill unless the wording had been changed, which it was and it passed unanimously. In case you did not know unanimous means ALL people agreed. Thank god our senate can agree on something that nobody would have opposed. That's not much of a feat if you ask me. BTW, I have never heard anybody say that Hillary and McCain don't have anything in common.
well here is the thing...first of all it ends up that the "regular joe" might not as well vote if the superdelegates are going to decide anyways. and they didn't do such a hot job either...mondale lost. sometimes in elections people really do just lose. even the superdelegates don't know who will win.
Well no they don't do such a hot job, especially not in the Democratic Party. However, the Superdelegates already have decided to carry nobama over the finish line without them, he wouldn't have won... as their vote doesn't actually count till the convention, they might as well think again about who won the States that will count in the general election. They have decide on electability.
You said and I quote (sometimes in elections people really do just lose) why cant hillary supporters just take that stance. She did not get cheated she got beat. Any one who is going to vote for Mcnut of Obama is just not reading the facts.
and what I'm saying RIGHT now is that McCain is not all that conservative. for example...obama thinks it's ok to kill children after they are out of the womb. both hillary and mccain do not think that is ok. this is one of the many reasons why hillary supporters are voting for mccain.
Barack Obama understands that abortion is a divisive issue, and respects those who disagree with him. However, he has been a consistent champion of reproductive choice and will make preserving women's rights under Roe v. Wade a priority as President. He opposes any constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court's decision in that case.
in that case they have stated that Obortion is the womens right to chose.
thats right...even if it means the killing of babies right out of the womb...he needs to figure out ANOTHER way. btw...even Roe of Rov V Wade is against abortion now. she realized it was a big big mistake.
This will always be a debate just like stem cell research. The problem is that you can no more prove that fetises have a soul than I can prove they dont. Athough I can prove the millions that would be saved by this treatment do have one and are alive, also have people depending on them!
In your opinion but I would much rather a mom do that than make IT grow up in a place where it will just turn in to Another criminal! or kill some one. I wish you well in you simple minded approach to the world.
But Hillary is being denied her name in nomination? Oh, that's right, these were all male candidates. Funny, no male was ever constantly pushed out of the primary either, for "party unity".
Thank you! Finally someone has clearly laid out the process and stripped away the media misinformation. Democracy is exciting, not threatening, and must prevail or our party is lost.
I really appreciate this clarification of our confusing nomination process. I'm looking forward to seeing the next video in this series. Thank you so much!

I'm not trying to prove they have a soul. killing a baby out of the womb is wrong and obama is for it. nuff said.
3swelldogs3 3 years ago
He is not for killing them out of the womb, only untill they are viable! Nuff said check your facts!

haha...until they are viable...that is sooo sick of obama.

That is an assumption on your part...if we go down that road we should force ALL women to have abortions.

Thanks for posting this, Democratic Process.

Have we forgot what the democratic process is all about?
Not the strong arm tactic, not silencing the delegates, not block vote from the delegates of each states.
I'm ashamed of the current party leaders of the Democratic Party.

The media needs to see this video. They are either ignorant of the process OR trying to hoodwink the voters.
