Other than that, I actually liked the video, seeing the whole layering process and the end product and everything.

The point of the project was that it was for Snono's make-up final for school. If they used the girl with skin already dark enough, there wouldn't be anything impressive about the transformation of the character.

Yeah, my eyes and nose don't really pass for african american, methinks. My nose is too small, not wide enough on my face for me to look racially stereotype-able as 'black.' Other than that, I think my head is okay being that round and I think that my lips were okay being that big.

Snono did an awesome job with mixing the colors.

It took us a few tries to decide how dark we wanted to make my skin, she added golds and bronzes into the chocolate paint so that it would match her own skin, that of a true African American.

Yeah, IZMA was a favorite for the crowd, for sure, especially since everyone there knew the boy who was playing Izma. I think the video shows less of how to turn a white girl black, but more so gives a general idea on what WE did to get there, and gives some cool costume/character ideas, as seen with the make-up show.
