  • This is pure fire! One of Aesop's most accessible songs, yet still deep and musically complex. I love the breakdown more than life itself.

  • aesop rock just has the greatest voice ever!

    it feels so over powering!

  • Doooooope.

  • its just a fucking song i hate how pople try and read into it eather its sick or not nuff said

  • You should like Maziyar's comment.

  • break dance beach? break dance beach!

  • "Now JJ punch drunk, acts like a dumb fuck, bum touch girls looking young enough to thumb suck."

  • fuck man! the past days i found a million reasons to love hiphop again.... why didnt i know this stuff when it came out

  • I think I get it, but maybe not. If you look at the number 11:34 on an alarm clock, upside down it says the word "hell". So the minute after (11:35), when "hell" breaks loose, all these events happen. Or "some shit went down" in Aesop's words. I may be wrong though.

  • @pjmgrooves Precisely.

  • Time for c-h-a-n-g-e, held a knife to the VIP on TV. She demanded that the format be expanded, beyond fair, everybody clear? Understand it?

  • this shit brings back memories

  • this is actually one of the greatest songs in rap history

this might sound dumb but can someone explain what shit went down on January 21st at 11:35 pm?

  • @1337K1D5s

    look at the number

    11:35

  • @Maziyar explain

  • @nicklongworth212

    11

    3 5

    it's perfect

it is the pattern for all things in our consciousness

    11 is double

    added it's 2

    235

missing the 4 for because it is an even number. positive.

well... some SHIT went DOWN. ego death ego death. I didn't want to do this.

  • @Maziyar HaHa!!! You're right it's the fibonachi sequence!!!!! Never even thought of it like that... I just thought it was refering to late in the day, ya know? Just before the days over... Leave it to ol' Aes to come through with some next leval shit... Now I gotta listn to the whole thing again and try to redicipher the context with more open eyes. Thanks Homie !,,!

  • @futchofdeth666

Yes. When you take a drug that is natural or a plant you can finally see it. THERE IS A PATTERN AROUND US.

a Pattern allll around us. It's one big rubix cube. They don't want us to know that we are the gods.

    Stand Up.

  • 1135 is 28th street time.

  • damn....i just realized its 11:35 pm here.....right when i turned on this song. hah.

  • kid looks like conan lol

  • 2:37 aes kills it love the song but damn the rhythm

  • This is my favorite song of his.

  • if you haven't seen aesop rock live

    your burnt. lol.

    this kids....

    this kids gonna be big.

    order the sequins.

  • sick beat wayyyy better than anything else.

  • blockhead beats ftw

  • pretty much all Aesop is amazing (beats and lyrics). Bazooka Tooth was my introduction to them. Still my favorite of Aesop LP. Thx for posting it because years ago most of my CD's were stolen and had to reformat the hard drive that I had backed them up on.

  • thanx for uploading .. really thank u!!

  • AES SPITS FUCKING FIRE!!!! Very few folks do it like this. Why can't this be on the radio instead of the endless garbage that is polluting our minds? Head change shit.

  • fareal.

  • because people cant handle so much greatness

  • @handsmcfeeler people dont understand what he is saying thats why no comercial succes. personally idk if he cares he has a devote fan base who love and acknowledge his for his ability and thats all a real artist is out for. ive never even recorded but everyone in my town knows my name.because passionate articulate artists dont need the arguments about whos better. theres no glory in that, the glory is people knowing who you are because they understand your message and support you.

  • Mr Lif is awesome!

  • This song is how babies are made.

  • @MyHipHopTunes straight up lol

  • I can't get this song..frostwires being a bitch and won't let me put numbers. D:

  • How can so much dopeness be in one song?!

  • Because its Aesop Rock! I'm still amazed at how much dopeness could be on one CD with Labor Days.

  • the sad thing is that all the dopeness in most artists careers isnt enough for one of aesops songs

    such a fucking beast!

  • @TairyHesticles Bazooka Tooth was his best.

  • @strafer fast cars, danger, fire and knifes is his best.

  • @PopularityTroll It's only 6 or 7 songs. Otherwise I would rate it higher.

  • @PopularityTroll applseed is better then fast cars.... appleseed is gold i think. I think it goes appleseed, labor days, float, music for earthworms, zooka tooth, fast cars, none shall pass.

  • @Padooshka agreed

  • @Padooshka Labor Days is a classic, that's for damn sure. None Shall Pass came out of the box, hot like smelted metal. Let's be honest though, the guy has a lot of good shit, no reason to relegate it to 6 or songs.

  • @TairyHesticles ...dopenesessesens ... ... or ..something like that ... ^^ ..

  • Rock and Lif sound tight as Hell together

    Niiice

  • I know. They really need to colab more.

  • Are there any other tracks you know of that they've done together?

  • Look up "Success" from Lif's I Phantom CD. It's one of my favorite songs of all time.

You can find it under the songs that I've uploaded. I actually just uploaded it yesterday. Its an amazing song.

  • Whoever produced that track did a nice job. The synth/organ noise in the background is sick. Thanks for the upload, I've been meaning to check out more of Lif's stuff.

  • El-P produced Success...so that explains it.

And yea, you should check out more of Lif. All of his CD's are great. I would suggest I Phantom first, then Emergency Rations.

  • El-P. Genious. I just caught him on the "No Chiefs Allowed" tour in Detroit. Set was insane. Man can seriously perform. Thanks for the recommendation.

  • I am truely jelous that you got to see El-P live. I want so badly to go to a Def Jux show. I would give an eyeball to see that.

  • It was a small set with like 50-60 people in a small room and EVERYONE was rhyming along. 50-60 people screaming "TPC Motherfucker cop a feel or two!" and "Find Those Detonators!" I hope you get the chance to see him, it was one of the best hip-hop shows I've ever seen. Tie with Lyrics Born.

  • I've been looking for him to head on a tour that goes through the midwest, but he hasn't in a while to my knowlege.

I'm going to see The Roots at Summer Camp this Saturday though, and they always put on a live show. That should be great.

  • El-P is sick...

    but Blockhead produces for ace...

    has for quite a while...

  • One Of His Best Cd To This Day

  • Personally, I think Bazooka Tooth is Aesop's worst CD. This song is great though.

  • Fuck yeah Aesop rock!
