I use this video to teach our neices, nephews, and our grandchildren about where western wedding rituals came from. It has much of value in it. I have to be careful to point out the modernity in parts of it and distinguish carefully what is traditional, and what is for tourist consumption. Much of our cultural patterns have at least part of their origins there.

Governments are there at the "people's" pleasure.When an entire nation supports the workings of a government, they become complicit in their crimes.Recent events in the US are a perfect example of this. Bus was elected twice, and "God forbid" that anyone spoke against him ... they received death threats and were terrorized short of being thrown out of their homes, neighbourhoods, country. I agree with Vinha1006,Caucasians should take pride.Never forget where you came from or your heritage and definitely should also be open to discussion and equal sharing with ALL cultures.There are many non whites who appreciate Caucasian/Euro culture and respect it as much as their own. I come from a multi-cultural family and share bloodlines with several different ethnicities and learned respect for ALL of them. So I can appreciate where WE come from.

There is NOTHING wrong about multi-culturalism. Native Americans didnt invite Whites to come to America. African Americans didnt ask to be kidnapped and brought to America.Hispanic Americans didnt ask to be Caucasian American's Neighbors. But all of these ethnicities were forced to accept things...so the fact is the UNITED STATES is multicutural as much because of Caucasians as it is any other immigrant who comes here for ANY reason..given a true choice or not.
