  • now where is the leaping head spearing move = head butting .

never seen any collar ties to serious SNAP DOWNs , that would have changed the entire complexion of the fight .

i want knees to the head on the incomming attacker.

yes they were very bussy but i want more techniques .

go watch FILIPINO BOXING ** panatukan **

after investigating PANATUKAN you will be able to clearly judge 52 blocks .

THERE SHOULD BE MORE EASILY AVAILABLE LESSON SAMPLES ON UTUBE.

    BYE

  • omg...weak

  • yaw racist like hell and last time i check black beats mexicans and white people all the time point made biotch nd people that always hatin on black people cuz we fight better yaw cn suk my pinky toe lol

  • When I was growing up slap boxing with friends was big back in the day funny how it turned out into like an event

  • This to me looks alot like they are simply brawling, there doesnt seem to look as though there is much techique involved. Is this developed for boxing only? And why do you's spar with open hands rather than clenched fists?

  • @scraponmutt This was a slap boxing event after the boxing lession a change to get in and bang for new comers. our fight can be used for boxing and MMA but you will have to see more than this clip to see what we do. thank you

  • nigger shit

  • Professional slapboxing wtf?

  • i dont see any bloacking....just swinging they arms like dumbasses.

  • lol isnt this what girls do?

  • @gambino617 It may be difficult but try to ignore that it is open hand and see that neither person is retreating, but instead slipping in , changing levels to and delivering then staying in blocking and striking. This is an example of two fighters in it to fight not to hug or wrestle or defend/block at punches that arent coming. They deal with whats coming and stay on mission...Ask Why if you have questions.

    Peace.

  • I Really Wanna Learn This Is Truly Amazing How Do I get Down?

  • @TheYungsilver contact us and we can start

  • @FarisiDaniel How can I Contact Yall?

  • That was a nice flurry at the end by the dude without the head gear. Ducked under came up with a nice combo. This shit looks fun if your just starting out.

  • Slap boxing...

  • I'd like to see this against a Kyokushin or Muay Thai fighter.

This is like watching Wing Chun vs. ...

  • Giant looks like the cat from BET..

  • Wanna see 52 against a real good wing chun guy

  • @kungfuspic it almost seem like 52 is a kung fu in the sense that it is kind of mysterious in how it works and what not...definitely be interesting to watch

  • was that iborn in this vid. iborn be on these vids alot and not 1 time he gave my son ty respect for holding him down and doing that lil bid for him. He know what it is. And they both on the square

  • In order to see the true effectiveness, please show us the higher practitioners. This just looks like organized slap boxing.

  • @research256 the first throwdown video is good

  • this style seems to leave the solarplex open .has this style been used in any tournament fighting and are there video

  • @MrRamdogg i doubt it has been. this is like... pretty new. not alot of people know it. and its not a traditional martial art either.

  • THIS OLD NIGGA IS ASKIN".......WHY ??

  • chicken scrap

  • Looks like girls fighting

  • i do kung fu boxing and i believe defence is key but those guys was jus clueless to what they were doin ...a stand still practice is definitly different from live battle

  • @anubis2787 Fair enough but they were new to the game. One of the cat still trains with us check him on other clips he's boxing too peace

  • @FarisiDaniel I looked and seen what hapens when 52 is executed properly and it looks amazin but i think a certain size is require to become utlimate at this craft.. i can imagine a fighter can become fatigued quickly and arms a little banged up but its a new challenge and i think thats what drives ppl to it,,,I wanna kno have u ever exercise this on the street against an attacker cuz i box and when i fought on the street it took my 2nd fight to understand that it wasnt no ring or holdn back

  • @anubis2787 some of the best fighters were short cats about 5' 7"- 5'9" as for the arm movement only during the attack... we absorb and shield more than block. counters are a huge part of the game on the street if he attacks you can get it in. if he runs or back peddles hold your deck if you can't close him off. closing the gap is 52 peace

  • @anubis2787 nah man don't listen to FarisiDaniel. he is right. but there are way better options then 52 blocks. closing the Gap? Muay Thai elbows and knees. Many Martial Arts can close the gap you just gotta train really hard. I recommend Judo you know? :) throw in some BJJ or Muay Thai :) trust me :P

  • @shadowcar88 think about it judo with no guard to block a skilled striker, not a kicker with one big attack, which is the problem with most styles. to keep a good grappler at bay you need to hit and hit often. tight on the inside makes it harder, not impossible. peace

  • @FarisiDaniel

must I post all the vids of pure grappler's v.s pure strikers? where the grappler get's in lightning fast and take's down the striker? don't get me wrong I love striking as much as I do grappling but it feels like your kinda blowing off what grappling really is about...

  • I give these two credit for applying themselves to the sport the 52 was defintly something needed learn growing up in BK

  • More like a monkey snap boxing contest

  • I could have sworn 52 blocks was used by the character named Turbo in the (recent) movie Undisputed 3.

It means this style hasn't gone unnoticed by Hollywood. i hope it will appear in more movies.

    I love 52!!

  • BITCH FIGHT

  • TNB.

  • Nice.

  • i would love to step into the ring with u guys. idont have no REAL boxing experience( just what my uncle taught me. he used to box pro) ive been in many fights tho. serious ones at that. im positive that i can best u guys in fighting or at least give u a run for ur money. all in all im interested in what u guys are doing but i am also a skeptic. either way keep it up.

real talk tho. i could pick those two apart.

  • 52 Blocks vs Stato Fist, a documentary on the history 52 Blocks in America, email danielmarks52@yahoo(dot)com to get a free viewer password to watch it online.

  • Catfight

  • Yeah, don't you just love it

    One

  • I laugh at all these people talking crap on youtube. Ya don't have balls to step in the ring period. Anyways.. Good stuff man. I'm a boxer myself, and this is infact good stuff to learn and know. Keep it up bro.

  • thanks

  • wtf is this looks like girlfighting :S

    go bjj or MMA

  • good skills, the problem in general in boxing/kickboxing is people tend to enter and exit strictly straight forward and back, it would be better to try to flank the opponent by sidestepping and pivoting when entering and/or exiting, I'm not knocking but just puttin my two cents in

  • Where is the "Throwdown" part.

Or is it in fact a retarded style?

  • you got jokes, come to our next event

    peace

  • sensei mo stopped up to fight novell bell when bell couldnt get any takers. he challenged the 52s heavyweights but no one accepted. the contracts for his and sensei mo's mma cage fight have been signed. and the purse has been agreed upon.

  • The Best Hands for MMA 52 Blocks instructional DVD, the first, and only instructional dvd on how to fight with 52 available today at 52blocks . tv

  • killar

  • Farisi if you got to explain then they dont understand the context you speaking from.

  • real talk im 40 yrs old and this was around when i was a kid in bk, cats back then they were called hard rocks would show us in the park , in the circle. they would throw us in the circle and we would slap box them or some one from the around the corner your age. And when i was a short i had to box older cats who had a cigarette in their mouth and if we could knock it out we were consider gettin better. This is all behind the wall shit or real shit street cats would come home and show us.

  • its just boxing.....just boxing....nothing is new....thay aint creating a new form of martial art...please come on...its just boxing....a normal trainning of boxing...

  • If you want history, check out 52blocks(dot)tv and look at the 52Origins section.

If you want to see more advanced applications you can purchase our new 52 Blocks for MMA DVD or see some for free in the Fighting 52 Blocks The Best Hands for MMA clip. Now, if none of that does it for you, please come in for a lesson and you can see first hand what this movement is all about, in fact we hope you choose the last option, nothing speaks like action.

    Peace

  • it´s just boxing, or what, come on, stop lie to the people.don´t sell an ilusion to the young kids.your not inventing nothing new.you are just doing cross trainnning.í´m from curitiba.home of chute boxe academy home of atlhetes like wanderley silva and anderson "the spider" silva.come on dude.stop wih your speach.build a world champion.bring the best middle weight that you have in your gym to curitiba.and put him to train with chute boxe atlhetes.and we will see if your tecnique is good

  • Jdflenik, you are right, we did not invent this, it has history. We would love to come test our skills against your fighters in Curitiba, please put us in contact with someone to make this happen if you have those connections. Take a look at some of the videos on the site and maybe try to do some of what we do, or maybe you could get Silva or Wanderlay to do a couple exercises

  • Jdflenik, check out the video name Reno Unspoken Heroes 52 to get an idea of how old this thing is, maybe it will open your eyes.

    peace

  • Really bad boxing at best.

  • Dude, it's for street fighting. These dudes would mess a lot of pro boxers up. Most boxers train for pitter patter endurance. This is straight niddy gritty going for damage with out getting hit to much.

  • LOL you said boxers train for pitter patter endurance. In boxing ive seen some of the best training ever... they go hard for their results. And no these dudes would not mess up alot of pro boxers. Simply because there PRO BOXERS. Look at how they fight... its almost similar to boxing. Even the strikes. A boxer can work with their style and it'll be anyones fight. Now a pro boxer... well there a pro for a reason... a pro boxer is puttin them down.

  • FAGS

  • hahahahahahaha

putting into play what they just learned?

    wtf did they learn?

how to use shitty techniqe in (slap) boxing?

oh your probably refering to some "52 blocks" thing. i saw 1 block (traditional boxing block) and 3 slips. other than they they took direct hits.

please tell me what they learned

  • The hands can easily close. Pay attention to the purpose of this exercise, standing and trading in the frey and not running, changing levels and angles to get it off. Perhaps if you could get some non -believers together we can do a throwdown with you and we can all test our assumptions about skills.

    peace

  • best shit is i get all these hate filled messages.

where is all the "52 blocks" is this video? can someone please point out anything other than the occasional bobbing and weaving?

looks like there just untrained wanna-be's slapping the shit out of eachother with no technique ("52 blocks" or otherwise)

  • slapping eachother?

    fucking stupid shit lol@ them

  • It has a purpose. Not everything done in training looks pretty. Trumpet players learn to bend notes in order build better control of there pitch and to condition there ambeshure but it sounds terrible particularly when they first start. Theres humility in being able to show what you look like as a beginner at anything. Everyone wants to show off the end product

  • while this may be true. there is no reason to believe any of this shit works. the blocks they use are laughable at best, reminds me of when i went to see the matrix with a group of friends. and they asked me if that was the martial arts i did, they believed all that stuff was humanly possible. i lol'ed

  • wat song is that in the beginnin

  • there slappin eachother...it looks like a bitch fight!!!!

  • So 52 is really slap boxing?

Put on some gloves and lets see what you can do.

  • wtf? That's terrible...

  • no disrespect but why do u guys keep ur elbows so high and wide open?

  • Wingchun,

    your right!

  • were they doing 52??? i didnt see any shapes

  • All of you are very good fighters.

  • I believe the science of 52 Blocks were developed in prison, and as you may know many brothers come into knowledge of themselves while incarcerated. So maybe this is the connection between the two. 52 Blocks aren't actually in the 120 though.

Peace to the peaceful, death to the deceitful!

    EL

  • I see.

  • nice video, from someone who specialize in CQC, I have to admit my favorite is dirty boxing, krav megav and 52B

  • yo these dudes is just slap boxing. Why they ain't throwing no real blows Ock?

  • I'm assuming Mike is the one with shorts on and one thing I noticed was that he goes in high low high low he keeps changing levels. In addition he uses the pivot a couple of times but my guess of which technique is "changing levels".

  • Cool to see some 52 sparring! Any chance of some videos showing elbows-headbutts-knees maybe kicks popping up on Youtube? Also? Is there in 52, any type of throws, sweeps, takedowns? Just wondering since chinese arts are big in NYC, and with Shuai Chiao being in there - some of it might have rubbed of on 52 boxing? But really cool to see some contact videos of 52!...

  • Excellent post.

The level changes are ripe for head-butting while you transition to combos. I've seen hints of that in some other 52 vids but you can't tell for sure if the intent is there.

The level changes also look like they might incorporate throws. Is that the case?

The "Throwdown" clips are really fun.

  • and ANOTHER thing! Just kidding. America is a beautiful country.

  • Peace I posted this once b4 but somehow it didnt register. For the Record, I met my brother, Enlightner and hands on trainer Zoklo7, in the science thru the Bro Daniel Marks. I have received numerous jewels from the brother Farisi as well as other Gracious Elders and 52 practioners. I just strive to make what ive been given my own. To make sure there is an abscence of confusion, all things are revealed in their due season. With that ill Fall back.

Peace Strength Unity to the Sincere.

  • peace family, keep doing your thing your CAP is high

    One

  • Thats PEACE...

  • This election day, in all probability, will be one of the most historic moments of our lives. Let's keep that spirit of positivity, unity and brotherhood on these Constellation pages. If you have young ones (kids under sixteen), take them into the voting booth with you: explain; teach them about the democratic process. Peace.

  • Whew!! Miss reading these comments for a day or so and they just BLOW UP! Im exhausted! To answer your question D I see Mike drop the forearm a couple of times to keep the distance. I also see the head movement that comes from the bob and weave drills. (So am I cheating because I was there?...)

  • That's only the half of it, fam. I think at least 50% of the comments that proceeded have been cut. For my part at least: Done. At least we can move back what this thread is meant to focus on, and don't forget to get into those lines tomorrow to vote!

  • This is squashed. Back to business, folks.

  • So it is along these lines

that the god made privy to me that he is no way, form, or fashion to be assembled along the lines with Lyte Burley.

He has impressed upon me the valid fact that the arterial vain of their friendship, of their student teacher bond, of their partnership monetary or otherwise

Has been severely severed, and forever irreparable.

  • It has been Constellation's goal as to the campaign of 52 fakers and so on, to expose Lyte Burley for his flaws, and make him fall into the lines of protocol. It is Constellation position as the holders of the flame to address the Master of the student who has shown himself by his actions to be a nuisance to the community.

  • Here and now we find that albeit Rahmel Scott was the teacher of Lyte Burley this was some 14 years ago. So Rahmel cannot be held responsible for what Lyte Burley is doing now. We (Constellation) maintain our stand that their particular style has flaws and is somewhat not conducive to the protocol of 52, however we respect their effort to promote the culture.

  • Furthermore, Rahmel Scott is the alike of Kawaun Adon by way of the Nation of Gods and Earths, and shall be treated with respect. This is pursuant to the 11, 12, and 13th degree of the 114

    God Travel in Harmony...

    PEACE

  • Mike uses a technique that we practiced in class very well here. Can any one peep which it was?

If you can guess it we will post that segment of the seminar.

  • I'm assuming Mike is the one with shorts on and one thing I noticed was that he goes in high low high low he keeps changing levels. In addition he uses the pivot a couple of times but my guess of which technique is "changing levels".

  • After all the distractions, can we get back to giving props to Kris and Mike for showing true heart, intensity and fire, shooting joints at the seminar?

  • djcentury I dont appreciate the fact that you are trying to slander my name! Do you know me? Not! So please brother make my name taste like shit in your mouth.

  • So fall back then, dude. Stop posting. I thought you said you weren't with the chat-chat. Peace.

  • This is from Kawaun, from the camp of Constellation:

The God Rahmel is the God.

    Mind will always detect Mind.

Peace and Harmony in all your travels, God.

    Love is Love,

    Kawaun Adon

  • Peace

This is a Public service announcement

    From Kawaun Adon of CONSTELLATION

This is a call out to all with in our Fitness and 52 community, and those who have supported Constellation.

In the evening last I was given the opportunity of speaking with (building with the god Rahmel Scott).

In that discussion we went in-depth as to life, liberty, and the consummate Brotherhood.

  • How do you go from avoiding the numerous times I have called you out,to calling out a journalist? Come on man,you just confirmed that you want no parts of real contact with someone who WONT allow you to embarass them like you do to lyte and jaysin. WE CAN SEE THROUGH THAT.

  • I don't think he knows I'm a journalist, Nak. I don't think he knows who I am. I've tried to let him know now, calm down, he's spoken to the God Kawaun now.

  • During the time of his post and my response there has been some building that I was unaware of,therefore my comment was late and irrelevent at the time I posted it. I retract my comment to mr52 in the spirit of getting past the BS. PEACE.

  • True but at least Daniel gave examples of why what Lyte and Rahmel was doin was not 52. Black commando an you give examples of why you say they are doing 52? what elements of 52 do they portray?

  • Let's see, they block punches, weave, fake, great foot work! How is farisi gonna give examps when he Don't know 52 blocks! You did'nt 52 blocks jayson7 strikes back? His student jayson was trying to punch Mr52s lights out and Mr52 displayed the beauty of the art. The 1st part of the vid Mr52 wasn't even swinging back! That man is official with it!

  • Great. We are glad you are big fan of Mr 52. Please post rave reviews on his pages. That's where they belong. Peace.

  • I'm a fan of the art of 52 don't get it twisted! Matter of fact I wan't to come holla at yall personally, let me know when it's a good time cause I'm not really into this kind of chatter! ONe!

  • Mr52 is teaching the children so how yall gonna hate on that? The kids display more 52 than any of yall!

  • Farisi is right, nuff prison talk.

Kawaun just wanted to know if you knew his dudes up there. That's peace.

  • These pages have been pure positivity, so leave the white-black division on the next man's pages, please.

  • Fellas, lets put the prison rap down. Commando, were involved with the youth and although we do not hide some of the rocky past that 52 has been through, we are promoting a higher end. You and Mr.Rah can talk prison all day on his page, us over here were about learning, sharing and physical improvement, in short were not really about talking unless its about some SHOW and PROVE. Our youth the bartendaz read this and we dont want them to stop asking why about the STYLE&flow for talk of prison.

  • And when you were in Attica, when you went out to the yard, whose box did you use? And when were in in transit, did you get bussed to Downstate?

  • All of them know Kawaun, so just curious why you don't know K? Those are all his peoples.

  • K told me to tell you D-block is Honor Block, so you were a trustee?

  • The last time I was in D block it was the Netal shop where we used to make all the bangers at.

  • farisidaiel, This is history of 52! You are promoting a higher end? Okay, I'll bite! Why none of yall knows 52 but yall are claiming that you do? The only one who has any substantial potential out of yall is that young blood meta! And if you're about that what you say then why all the negative comments about Mr52? Why is he displaying the real 52 blocks and you are saying he isn't? Why are you hating on the white boy too.

  • Brother, please, we are trying to leave you alone in peace.

  • You talking like kawaun is that dude, I know who I know! Nothing more nothing less. And if I know his People that does'nt mean i have to know him. Maybe he wasn't that important for me to know..

  • my question is directed to you sir

  • I think let's leave it alone, man, don't feed the trolls...

  • djcentury, You got a big mouth, how about we meet up?

  • Get at me on the personal e-mail, Rahmel. I don't deal with these threats in public, you dig?

  • I'm good anytime you want to meet up. But how'd you suddenly get on this thread, making threats all of a sudden. You're confusing me, brother.

  • Also, this is from Kawaun:

Listen God, here's the Mathematics. God Wisdom Cipher, Wisdom Understanding Culture, Wisdom Power, Knowledge Power.

Before you commence to that, Blackman, I would encourage you to take at the Bylaws of the Nation of Gods and Earths.

Kawaun the God done reached out to you.

  • sir means assh**** in swahili so watch what you saying young blood!

  • Yes Sir

  • furthermore, I noticed that Mr52 posted his vid 1st and now you guys are trying to be like him with the head gear and the movements. Yall are a bunch of imitators. But I can dig ya loyalty! One!

  • Brother, the head gear was optional. Besides the one used at the seminar were open face with no chin protection. Rah's headgear is the martial arts equivalent of a goale mask. peace

  • It's common knowledge that when you are in a max and you get transferred they send you to downstate. But this aint the 20 questions show. Prison is not to be glorified young blood. And it's not like it used to be.

  • blackcommando1, you are an example of what is wrong with the world. Saying 'we are black' and those 'whiteboys' are of a childish mentality...you are creating division and bad blood between people of different ethnicities...you need to grow spiritually.

  • coneyltroopers, How am I creating division when we are already divided? I can say what I wan't but I didn't disrespect no one! Pay attention young blood!

  • Just wanted to say Mr.Flightrisk is proving that if you stay civil people are far more likely to respond and share with you on the internet.

It's good to see the 52 vids coming with real dialogue and grown up discussion.

  • Blackcommando1, you a 'street general in BK' and all, so no disrespect intended, but where were you at up north? I mean, I had to get inside through official channels to write about my man Kawaun when he was doing 3-6 in Fishkill. I'm trying to document all the official 52 fighters left, so if you could let me know who you crossed paths with up north who had high-level skills, I'd appreciate it. peace.

  • djcentury, I was in every max facility in the state of new york. I can tell you of a few skilled 52 fighters I've known up north but I don't think they will appreciate it if I put it out there like that.

  • Young bloods, don't take what I'm saying the wrong way but yall need to get off that bull****! I just came home from doing 10 years and I only seen 2 people that's close to Mr52 and they are in prison,I been around a long time and I know what's genuine and what's not! Everybody who hasn't seen Mr52s vids click on to "52 blocks jayson 7 strikes back"! And yall can witness the truth for yourselves. One!!

  • So ask you people who are close to Mr52 if he's looking for sparring partners.

  • I don't know Mr52 but he looks very, very familiar. Now what I will do is ask a few of my homies if they know him and I will get back to you.one!

  • so hold up, blackcommando1: lemme get this straight, now. You are 50 years old, from Brooklyn, just did a 10 year bid up north, and you don't know Kawaun from FAP? You know anyone from Franklin Ave? Washington Ave? You must have done a bunch of years judging by all the booty videos you've got in your favorites. Big up, rubeboy! Welcome home.

  • djcentury, I done mad time up north through out my years and I know a lot of people from everywhere, I don't know your man Kawaun. I know people from franklyn ave and all over brooklyn. Big up to all the big booty chicks! Damn it feels good to be free!

  • If you like Mr52 so much and hate Constellation why is it you're only subscribed to constellation. Also you just joined on 10/29 and have left no positive comments on anyones vids, just the negative comments here. Are you just here to put down constellation?

  • omnidrago, I'm not into HATE! But to come home from prison and see a lot of these so called 52 videos is an insult to the art. Why do my comment have 2 be negative? Why can't it be my opinion, doesn't everyone have their own opinions? I'm not putting down constellation I'm just stating facts! A lot of yall probably just heard of 52. And I seen all the vids. I subscibed cause I'm feeling the bartendaz but 52 is not being displayed here I'm sorry!

  • First its your opinion and now its stating Facts. If your knowledge is fact then why dont you answer any of djc's questions? Your stating facts and backing it with opinion? Help me understand please

  • Also, I seen the "protocol" video farisi and I also seen when you said "ask why?" and compare. Do you wan't people to compare your videos with the others? Mr52 is the truth!!

  • I read all the comments and I seen all the 52 vids on youtube including the white boys doing their little thing but it seems that dirtyclinchmaster knows more than yall, but that's not the issue. Why are yall dissing the other 52 camp? I seen lyte burly and Mr52 they know what they are doing but why are yall hating on them young bloods? We are all black so what's the reason for the negativity?

  • Point of fact, blackcommando1, several of the fighters training with Constellation are not black, so that "we are all black" is a strange argument to make as regards negativity.

  • My remark about black and white wasn't racial and if you took it like that then you shouldn't! All my years in brooklyn and prison I never seen white people doing 52 blocks! Why? cause only the 5%ers and selected people was allowed to learn. I seen people however who tried to copy peoples styles of 52 but when they tried to use it in a fight they got f***** up real bad.

  • So you were Attica, my man? What block were you in? Who did you share the yard with? Do you know Gator? Do you know Bishme-Allah? Did you run across the God B.O.? Or did you run into "Planeta" or Fu Manchu, Chrisbo? Did you run into the God Divine or Everlasting? That's my man Kawaun asking, those are his peoples up in Attica doing mad, mad years.

  • Are you talking about Gator with all the razor marks on his face? Are you talking about Born Original from B.K. that looks like frankenberry (the cereal character)? Are you talking about Bishme Allah from the boogie down bronx who had an ass h*** full of time. I was in A,B,C,D block and the "snake-pit".

  • Those two brothers have a lot of heart..the last ten seconds was amazing to see them push like that. PEACE!

  • Ok Fam. Lets play a lil game called find K some sparring partners. If you know some one or can contact someone who might come get it in, let us know & we will try to make it happen.

    Peace.

    PS The MORE the Better.

Mabye some other 52 Masters might want to come get a workout also, mabye ask him

  • I like that, D. And to MrFlightRisk, who's going to say this is "Second Hand," or whatnot. I'm telling you this: My brother called me last night and asked me do I think Rah would fight him (sparring or whatever). I told him the truth, "No, I don't think he'd ever have the heart." Sorry, but that's real talk.

  • Mrflightrisk, you're asking a lot from an open-source video service like Youtube.

So what will satisfy your need for "showing and proving"? Video of Kawaun Adon fighting Rahmel Scott in a ring? I can already hear the excuses, though: Yo, Big K is "too big," Rah won't come to a gym, somebody's gonna call police, etc.

It'll take a matchmaker, probably some kind of purse, but I'm pretty sure we can make that fight happen if the Rahmel has the true warrior's heart.

  • Point of logic for you to consider. Rahmel claims in his vids you can see he's a master of 52 because his face is not scarred. Check Kawaun's face -- nose has been busted, no doubt, cheeks and forearms scarred from razors and shanks. Only someone who doesn't understand the fight game would make that claim. Oscar De La Hoya notwithstanding: Dempsey, Frazier, Marciano, Duran, Joe Louis-- almost any serious fighter you mention has years of ring wear written all over his face.

  • Part of what I would like has already been posted, just not to a great degree. I like K's Elmira Defensive Set vid. I was probably one of the first people to view it on 52BlocksTV back in June --- I'm a big fan of it because it showcases technique. Zoklo7's vids (before he took them down months ago) were favorites of mine because they showcased technique. I was looking forward to him posting a vid of some 52 elders sparring but that fizzled when he canceled his account.

  • Sure I would like to see K and Rahmel spar, but not for the sake of SHOWING and PROVING. King Saladin Allah talks about about two 52 practioners sparring on the BTG DVD (Victor and Babyface). When you hear how he describes two experienced practioners of the art going at it, and you've never experienced or seen it, it makes you WANT to SEE IT! Not because it matters who the victor is, but, it's the TECHNIQUE and SKILL involved. Knowing that this is an African art envokes pride.

  • When I hear 5* OG Blood from BTG talk about knowing guys that can roll up from the floor and the way up to the top of your head with the 52 Comstock, I'm like sh*t, what does that LOOK like? TECHNIQUE and SKILL fascinate me. So often you associate it with Asian Martial Arts, but something that evolved and was birthed from African-American slaves?...I couldn't envision that when I was coming up in the '80s. The dudes I knew from the projects and the neighboorhood who could fight good...

  • ...they were hood street fighters, but nothing like the 52. The slap boxing I saw in Florida back then was nothing like the slap boxing in the 52 neighboorhoods of NYC in the '70s and '80s. The guys I knew who were good with their hands would have gotten embarrassed mentally and destroyed physically against even decent 52 practioners. So, my thing is all about TECHNIQUE and SKILL. I like the movements of 52 and my brain is always trying to analyze the arm movements.

  • have you seen actual african martial arts???

look up lutte senegal and dambe.

    possible ancestors of this.

  • Are you in the nyc area? If so I would suggest you go and train with "the running man" aka Lyte burley and then practice what you have learned and then ask some older heads if that's the 52 they know. If not, then you should look elsewhere. peace

  • Clarification on the comment below,if the older heads say that what you learned is not official you should try and train with someone else who knows the real. peace

  • Again, this is still "talk". If older heads versed in the real 52 think what Lyte/Rahmel is doing is not real, we're hearing this information second-hand AND we don't have any visual evidence from these old heads to steer us in the right direction. Most folks on Youtube don't know Michael Duffy, Life, Big K and the older heads that taught them. All we have is a bunch of folks WHO KNOW THEM telling us about the art they know and learned (second-hand). It doesn't mean much. Outsight vs Insight.

  • In the 70's and early 80's only certain people were learning G-Style (in Los Angeles) - the Wavemasters Crew were my big homies (if you overstand that) and I trained with their lil bros. We was hittin, twistin, and clownin' -- we never called it "52" but it came from East Coast and South. We did say "twist" and "twine" - we said "clownin'" we said "slap boxin'" -- It was as much a part of "G-Style" as was "waving" and "strobin'"

  • Real Talk.

  • Flightrisk would you be down to help us find people to come in and spar? If you do we will show a lil something a lil more, but in truth, were here to inform. And yes Bartendaz is meant to grab people's attention it builds the discipline for what comes next 52 fundementals.

  • Check out how sick dirtyclinchmaster 52 LOOKS,but when someone is actually throwing punches at him the LOOK diminishes greatly and you start seeing that the lack of fundamentals come to light. No disrespect at all to dirtyclinch but this is why Brothers are stressing the fundamentals first and the flash last mrflightrisk.

  • the foundation is in the conditioning so the bartendaz are the first step of training. Why show every thing at once?

  • It's been well over a year since Daniel started submitting Constellation 52 vids. He has hardly displayed much 52 in any of his vids until just recently and even those vids don't display much. Help me to understand how this question makes much sense considering the time frame and the amount of what he has shown during that time frame.

  • Folks who were at Rich's Gym saw what they saw. Kawaun was in the ring for two sparring bouts, using 52 to block, catch and parry, albeit in teaching mode.

These clips so far posted are of beginners, fighting full-contact, with a ton of heart.

I'm suggesting an official "smoker" be organized, Bartendaz can do security, and those students who feel they can fight using 52 come down and fight.

  • djc, for the folks who were there and got to see, good for them. But we're not talking about them. We're talking about the many who were not able to be there, the many who view and post in the vids on Youtube who Daniel is trying to reach with his message. The "talk" of "those who were there got to see it" is exactly what I keep alluding too. Many people are tired of the talk and want to see action. They want SHOW AND PROVE.

  • Giant, the Founder/CEO of Bartendaz, says it best: "Every man wants to be a master, but nobody wants to practice." That's after K doing his thing in one of these videos. "This is the Giant: I'm telling you right now, I seen a lotta people in my days, and that's the biggest, fastest dude I ever seen in my life." How much more can you learn from Youtube videos? Some level of personal apprenticeship and hands-on training is required. You expect them to post video of a real life beatdown?

  • That's the thing though: if you're SHOWING a display of REAL 52 from a seasoned veteran, this has nothing to do with LEARNING from Youtube videos. People practice and master what they are SHOWN, not what someone "talks" about. No, I don't expect them to post a real live beatdown; however, Zoklo7 showed techniques in his vids before he took them down. Lyte and Rahmel routinely showcase technique and sparring (their level is beyond beginner) and harvydent shows technique...

  • ...none of these people tout themselves as wanting to build a media empire around 52 or the foremost authority. They all have already SHOWN so all folks expect Constellation to do is the same, minus all the talk. Again, props for the three vids so far but they don't hold up against the other vids IMHO. Honestly, I'm one of the people who feels that BARTENDAZ is the real draw of Constellation. They showcase what they knowinstead of talk and they get the most views...
