Thanks for your insight! I definitely would like to think that focusing on excellent content should be the most worthwhile strategy in the long run. I mean, if everyone is just trying to game the system then clearly the content would not be able to compete with the myriad of other competitors for attention. My guess is that YouTube also needs to make sure the content has lasting value if they want to remain vital and relevant in the future.
