Ya know, it doesn't even matter what age they are or what age you are...you know when someone means the world to you. I lost my grandfather right before his 70th birthday. I do have sympathetic and empathetic for both of you.
my dad passed in 1981 5 days before his 60th birthday this song help me so much as a kid back then i am 41 now this song still means a lot to me today
Sorry about your Dad. Lost mine in 1976 when he had just turned 62 and I am now47 now. You are never at a "good" age to lose someone that close to you. I also have songs that remind me... I hope that it has gotten easier for you. Peace
Live your life to the fullest, tell your parents (etc...) that you love them even when your upset with them and be thankful to have what you have but it is ok to wish for more. By the time I was your age I was an orphan but i survived somehow and consider myself lucky today.
