i dont know what you mean, this is the original. the reason it doesnt have the cracking sound in the background is because i have a sound recorder and it took that out or the version i recorded didnt have it.

it isnt a version of the regular theme song, its a record that was put out some time while the show was airing.

Right you are. It was on the album "Hogan's Heros Sing The Best of World War II", which was realesed in 1966

@dodgedavis This was the them song performed by the cast members. Bob Crane drums, Larry Hovis, Ivan Dixon, Robert Clary, and Richard Dawson doing the singing. They released it as a single to promote the show.
