Hey GuYS I Have Like A 48 Inch HDTV Vizio And the Screen IS Cracked I wAS Wondering If I Could Manually Take apart the Tv and repLace the Screen I dont Want To Repare It
its not worth anything.. junk it.. unless you like tearing apart stuff. the EL back light could come in handy for many applications. also the EL driver inside the lcd pannel is usefull for many applications.. however, the DA converter is toast as well. this is what causes the BLURR. the crack doesn't cause that.. it was cracked after the DA was shot.
you could find an old used lcd for the same model and get the lcd and not the backlight and inverter, it would be much cheaper to do it that way or just use the parts in it.
i know it sucks so bad Ive found a 22inch monitor once it was BIG and wide screen too but i scrapped it and i saw a 60inch plasma screen once it was cracked and people took the boards out so it was useless but yea soon they are going to have flexible LCD so no more breaking
i had the same find! i think the one i got was on a wall and fell off.. it kinda worked after i dryed it out but it was cracked in like 1000 places you could not make any thing out
lol if i cant find the replacement to fix it im going to save the light then use it as a 12v light backup because its bright and theirs 4 tubes in it or sell it for $60 as parts because its still works
Find these all the time :-) I found a 32" DELL one rallllyyyyy flat, and all i needed was a power reset! Now I have a really nice tv by my bed :-)

@EpiiKHD its better to buy a new tv than repairing it unless you find one thats dead and the lcd is still good for cheap then go for it

@fike2903 who would give a 50' lcd to goodwill?
you got a good price on this. at a store kind of like goodwill they were trying to sell a 32' crt tv for 50$.
