This young man was a bit tentative in the beginning but the beauty and strength of his instrument shone as the ballad progressed. He was singing in his passagio a great deal of the time and actually managed to navigate his voice well. It's about pitch, vowels and coordination of the vocal cords--this guy is definitely on the right track.. congratulations... I give it a 9

I think you underestimate how hard singing is...either way, even if he was doing a poor job, you do not need to insult him or the choir. I think he has done a fantastic job, especially since it's difficult to hit those notes and when you are performing, it is stressful and there is a ton of pressure from the audience, from your teacher/choir and thinking you're going to mess up. So give the kid a brake...
