i was there in 2007 and we were up there for a few hours then the cops had a road block set up and one of our friends had a couple of coolers sitting in the back of his truck and they made him pour it all out on the side of the road.
sorry i was also gonna say, peel off the highway onto old vernon rd by the airport (cant miss it), you will come to a fork in the road stay right, then the next left, then stay on that road all the way up... postil is a good time with some big fucking trucks...
who's all heading to postill this year?? im thinking of taking the saturday off work and heading up there for the day to watch. im heading to keremeos on sunday for some lawnmower racing.
( thats where all the action is ). I must warn you if you hit cabins you've gone way to far turn your ass around and try again ha. P.S. Bring beer and a tent youll love it there. This is the last long weekend of mudding at postil but they do do it every sunday, well atleast i think they still havent been sice maylong. Hope this works for you...
You'll come to a fork in the road you can either go stright( which takes you around the bog ) or turn left like. thats the one that will take you to the small pit. From there its not hard to find your way to the big pit
They do it mostly on the long weekends.. Its not to hard to find you would go down old vernon rd then turn onto posthill rd from there you would wanna turn left onto postil lake rd and keep going up stright you will hit dirt road keep going theres going to be no turns on your left right away.. keep going up and the first turn on your left is the bogs. Now when you turn the road keeps going just follow it. You'll pass a trailer, keep going.
how exactly would one find his way to postil lake...i live in penticton and would love to head up there some time soon..is all the mudding done for the year or is it an every weekend thing... thanks
