  • Thanks for sharing,,,, I suffered a massive bleed stroke in april 2011. I lost all muscle control on my right side.. I spent 7 weeks in ICU and acute rehab. I did a month of inpatient therapy and 3 months out outpatient therapy. I regained most of the use of my hand arm and leg, and am still working to improve my walking and endurance/flexibility.   • @epror2 It's caused by a clot in the blood which blocks a main artery to the brain, causing a "collapse" on one side.

  • hi!!!.....you have no ideia how lucky you are!!!...i am so happy for you, i am a stroke survivor as well, but i was not so lucky paralized on my left side of the body at 31 now i am 34 3 years after stroke my left hand is still not working, but i still consider myself very lucky to be alive it has been a very long road for me and my kids, my husband a lot of crying, but life goes on thank you for sharing your story here hugs.....
