I had the opportunity to talk with you that morning along with my family, although I am sure it was all quite a blur. We have been wondering how you are doing. We stopped by on Saturday hoping we might see someone as we had something we wanted to give to you and your daughter. This was my house, and yes, we all got out of the house with the exception of our cat. The fire depts, were able to save her and we gave her some oxygen and she is ok now. We had some very close friends take her to the vet right afterwards and the vet gave her a clean bill of health. My family and I would like to thank everyone who stopped and offered various means of help. God bless you all for being so caring during this difficult time, words can't express how much it means to us. Thanks.
Everyone got out safely even the pets. A cat was sadly left behind, but was rescued by firefighters well into the fire and given oxygen. It was a bright moment for such a tragedy,
I saw this today, well yesterday now, for all of 30 seconds and my 13 year old just burst into compassionate tears. I hope everyone is okay here, and my prayers are with the occupants.
