@gc8awd you should definitely rinse off the teaspoon with each nutrient mixture. i also wound never mix more than needed because the nutrients react with each other over time. saving mixed nutrients degrades the solution.
The tablets are an attempt at a 1-size fit's all solution - the problem is that plant's nutrient requirements change as the plant matures. They need different levels of different nutrients at different points of growth (sprouting, vegetative growth, flowering, and fruiting). The tablets give it the same dose of everything through the whole process.
