  • @gospellover28 its sinewave, not signwave.

  • Nicely done. He did it right. I hate it when people criticize others like the way they do it is better. Everyone was taught differently. Have you forgotten the meaning of martial arts?

  • People have to remember that Taekwondo is a young and progressive martial art, the minor differences in forms such as chon-ji are there as a result. The importance with chon-ji lies in the balance and stability of the stance and the use of reverse power in the punches and blocks.

  • Great, thanks.

  • stand*

  • different from what i have seen before. ANd why does he stay on a parking lot with palms in the background?

  • that guy has no signwave

  • Everyone learns at a different pace

  • This is very well performed.

Though, I'm sorry to say, you bent your knee when performing your final middle block, making it (I believe) a sitting stance. Other than that, it was perfect, very well timed.

  • sensei?

    we are talking about taekwon-do

    not karate or judo

  • It's almost slightly like taekkyeon.

  • Good observation. The hip swaying in Taekkyon is based on a ternary beat, tho.

  • My Sensei would fail me at white belt for doing a form like that...

  • Can u elaborate? Trying to help my son - going for green. I don't do it myself, so I don't know anything about proper form.

  • WTF vs ITF

  • That's because this is the ITF method, where as the WTF method doesn't bring the foot in and then out, but is much sharper.

  • that depends on what martial art youre doing

clearly not tkd as we dont use 'sensei'

  • I agree, the legs were not bent at all in the L stance. Most of it was good though

  • the first time you do it chon ji isnt that easy but after years of months, or years of training its really easy

  • @gmfk12lk Are you kidding me? No offence, but I did it perfectly on my third try today, my first day of Chon-Ji, third try, me and my friend.

  • klick ur ass? LMFAO.

  • chon ji is not the easiest pattern once you just try to learn it... beginners.

but when you get higher into ranks its easy.

    nice vid!

  • my 6 yr old nephew has a grading on dec 14th any tips or making this easier for him to learn at home?. He seems to manage fine in class he is going for his yellow belt and any help would be great.

  • 4 directional n chon ji up 2 red belt pattern are easy and i am only a green belt

  • chun ji and dan gun r the easiest patterns.

  • I won a tul competition doing Chon Ji!
