David doesnt need to cry to express emotion in his acting, he shows that through his eyes which are so expressive they show how he is feeling

If you look at the part when Donna touches the Doctor's hand before the metacrisis, you'll see that she is wearing a ring, and later on when Donna has her memory wiped and is talking to one of her friends on her phone, the ring flashes, in an unnatural way......

They were once Friends, for a long time. And if the Master dies, then the Doctor is the last time lord in existence, even if the Master is evil, he is still the last living Time Lord apart from the Doctor, so he would of course want him to live.

@MKTrny They were BFFs once and even in the Master's time as a villain, they've teamed up to fight greater evils on several occassions (To be fair, the Master imported most of those greater evils for his personal amusement), and he even saved the Doctor's life a few times - mind you, he also threw him off a giant satelite dish, but you know how the Doctor is.

If you mean the music that starts playing when the Master dies, it's called 'This Is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home' and it's from the Doctor Who series 3 soundtrack. Hope that helps =]
