Argh can someone help me. There are Silat classes in cardiff, near where i live. and i really want to learn it and study it for self defense after watching many of these videos. But can someone tell me, what it actually is? I've tried to find out, but it seems its a mixture of martial arts
@motley0crue12 silat: generic-term for malayan martial arts of the malayans. the MA located in southern thailand, southern vietnam, malaysia(and singapore), brunei darussalam, the philipines, and indonesia. the footage you are seeing now is one of many styles of silat (it is bruneian style).
Class act as ever hopefully we will finally meet in person in 2011. After all we are not that far from each other. Keep up the good work. Respects. Pat
Hello, Sir! I enjoyed this video, and like what I saw. I think what you showed here will compliment my knife skills. I am always looking for new "Baiting" methods to help my flow drills become more "Alive".
I will definitely tell my friends to check you guys out!
Yep, I agree. That must be some sort of stupid historical fact from History Channel. I know that sentence. It's quoted from History Channel - Human Weapon (Silat). I don't know how those "historian" wrote that documentary.

fuck u!!! you guys agree with dis??? 1 thing dere's not kali moves 2 are a lot of kong fu (kung fu drunk, cinese kung fu,kung fu 5 styles...etc) so????what u thinck???>:-??
This is good I have seen to many students try and just mass slash each other everyone can do that. But being smart with your weapon is the best. You have amazing Skills I wish I could be half as good as you in my art of Serrada Escrima.
An honor for Guru/Sifu Ron Kosakowski to drop a line - his martial credentials are unbeliveable, from Inosanto to Leo Gaje to Herman Suwanda to Rickson Gracie. check out his videos and site.
An honor to recieve a comment from Punong Guro Michael Blackgrave - US representative for Master Epifanio "Yuli" Romo in the art of BaHad Zu'Bu Mangtaas Baraw and Silat practitioner.
where is the origin of this deadliest martial art? who invented it? its still a mystery.................
