You can tell just by watching this film that the franchise is so close to death. There's no sense of adventure, there's too much in the plot to keep track of, Rob Marshall was the worst possible choice for directing it, almost every joke falls painfully flat, and they flat-out wasted Gibbs and Ian McShane. For those who haven't seen it, I urge you not to; don't let this film make enough cash to justify Disney destroying the franchise further. At least we will always have the great first film.

Two person must drink of the fountain, the other one dies and the other one gets extra years as much as the other person had lived until that moment, and would have lived after that moment. So Angelica gets yet to live as long as Blackbeard was old. (According to PotC wiki he was 80 when he died.)

I've seen the movie, and to explain, it said that whoever drank from the chalice with the mermaid tear gets the years left in the other person's, the one who drank from the chalice without the mermaid tear, life. So, she basically stole the years that were left in his life, henceforth, Blackbeard is dead. She just gets longer, maybe a lot longer or not, to live.
