The so called noble can walk with their head held high,but the armed servants must bow their head in submission,what a boost to the self esteem eh boys ?? the king and his subjects ought to be able to see eyes to eyes...like father and sons.
A king should never abdicate his throne,he should never ask,never refuse nor ever resign an office...it ruin the moral of a nation and severed ties with General Lonol,the trust,the faith and the loyalty severely damaged beyond repair between the king and his generals....
Sihanouk is partially "khteuy" for goodness sake! Sihanouk is the jack of all trades; especially he's a murder and a traitor of his own country.
