I saw this band twice when they were in the UK and they put on a great show that was as much about style and fun as it was about the music.

I think Perry was the driving force of the CD by a long way as the whole thing was his concept but when this band took to the stage it was all about one of the worlds true musical geniuses - Nuno.

Also let's not forget that Nuno added alot as far as creating the music on the SP album..by Perry's own admission. In fact I remember Perry calling him a "virtuosos". In my opinion they are both brilliant and compliment each other well. I just wish they had not parted ways.

Perry is singing off key sometimes.. and Nuno isn't aloud to shine as much as he should.. Nuno is truly the main talent but he is given a background role. CD is very good though. After Nuno left they really went down hill though..it's too bad.. they had massive potential and were really starting to kick ass just before he left with the drummer.. oh well..all good things must come to an end.

But he doesn't sing off key on the album.. Actually, I like Perry also..in fact i much prefer him to Gary Cherone, who i think is totally lame. Perry did great lyrics and great singing on the Satellite Party CD. I just think that this performance was right out of the gate for them..it kicked off their tour because after this they headed to Europe.. I just figured Perry wasn't in the swing of playing live again yet... because in their later videos of their European shows, he really nails it.

Did you read the booklet inside the cd? Nuno plays guitar and does the backing vocals on that number. Apart from that Nuno does nearly everything on that album. I think this was recorded the day Perry posted that 'the keyboard player had locked her keys in her car and was lost' on his blog, and you can see he wasnt happy about it and the sound is pretty sparse without the keys. Nuno's guitar is cool though...bonus!
