  • Moodys mood for love is a cult

  • he lyricised this, it actually originally is a saxophone solo! an improvised saxophone solo, and he sings it! Now that is why I think jazz singers are the absolute best! You can`t get any better than this. Love it!

  • Love It!!

  • I hear James Moody was a Newark native.

  • Great post , Love this cut

  • This is one of my favorite albums (yes, I said albums) lol, in my collection along with, "Open The Door Richard with Dusty Flescher. James Moody was so cool and sauve during his era. It's a shame the music world and mainstream media didn't publish his passing on national television. At least on Good Morning America.

  • James Moody was beyond "cool" to my generation - a great romantic jazz singer, he said it for all of us who would love to say things with music to the one we love. So happy that he won the Grammy, even in death - though I wish he got it while alive.. Where were you Grammy folks for all these years? Thank you for posting this - I listen to it at least once a week for all the time you have had it up. Thank you!!! I love your taste in music and i'm a subscriber of yours.

  • @ManagerGuy1 Thanks for your comment. I appreciate it. I'll be posting more tunes soon!!!

  • Where's the one with King Pleasure and Blossom Dearie? James Moody you can come on in now....

  • how many times did he do this song

  • Oh really? Wow, I do the same with Everybody Hates Chris episodes. Ha ha. I hear a cool 80's song and I go on youtube and look for it with whatever I was able to make out from the lyrics.

  • I heard this song on the Cosby show and I had to find it! lol
