migration is do more good than harm to this country, NHS, Financial Sectorts Public/ private sectors all depend on non- British workres and they do a grat job to keep this country going, can you imagine what would happen if cut off 80% of work force taken away from non-british workers???

I for one have monitored the rampant racism that many British citizens spout off in the name of "nationalism", and am sickened to the core by their rhetoric: they are perfectly willing to accept the benefits derived from foriegn labour (which their economy so desperately needs) but are condescending towards the foreign workers themselves.
As long as the majority of British citizens maintain this attitude, Britain will never be seen as anything but a washed up, backward nation that barely deserves its seat in the G8.
I was unaware that the British gov't manage migration at all!
In reality it is an open door immigration policy (without democratic mandate) over many decades coupled with rapidly changing demography that poses the most serious threat to social cohesion.
