I've been a Vegetarian for 5 years. I'm talking about PETA members. PETA is out to remove pets from our homes, and euthanize them, because they don't find any human responsible enough to take care of animals because of the over population of animals in shelters. That's what I was saying.

I assume crabs don't get fed for real because those looked like some energy deficient animals. Because I feel like if they had some energy they shoulda snapped at the dog. Then again, I don't really hang out with crabs very often, just the occasional frolic around the neighborhood.

@xoxoxRSxoxox Actually, having raised chickens for years, I can tell you we don't boil them alive. We dip em after they die to get the feathers loose, but not while they live. Don't believe a word of what PETA says. :)

@TheScorpionSage yes they are. they are animals. they have the capability of being scared just like us. if you were observant, you would see they have their claws out and ready to defend themselves. this act shows they are fearful and feel the need to protect themselves.

I'm not a crab, but if I was... and I was taken out of the water, put on a kitchen floor after a long treturous journey and then a wild beast barked at me, I would be scared. I'm pretty sure that's why they are trying to get him with their pinchers.

@erinpotter1124 That's not true. I don't know where you heard that but a simple google search will tell you otherwise, about 163,000 results stating otherwise. I believe you are getting they way they hear (via vibration, which is connected to their nervous system) confused with them feeling pain. I've kept aquariums with fish/inverts for 15 years I know they feel pain. They can also hear.
