  • Thanks for posting the vid - it helped me a lot ........ I'll probably use glue. Are there any commercial contact cements which doesn't attack the cotton tape on the tire ? Are the glues specifically made for this really special or it is just marketing hype.

  • Two-way fit wheels and tires are the future of cycling. Tubulars will be a thing of the past in a few years, as technology improves on racing wheels. With a two-way fit set-up if you get a flat, all you have to do is pop in a tube. This glueing process is messy, complicated, and something that takes time and experience to do properly.

  • could you also post a video where you change the tubes on these kind of wheel.

none of the bike shops in my city does this kind of stuff.

and if anyone could tell me what the glues are:

    Thank you bunch (:

  • @ipiratemiggy the tire is the tube.

  • Thank you so much for posting this!! It's very helpful to watch.

  • Velox is excellent. Half the European pros are on it. Give it a try - its really quick and easy. Better than Tufo extreme.

I still like glue too though. Cheers for the vid.

  • What do you think of Velox tape?

  • TUFO is the only tape I am aware of for tire attachment. I have never used it.
