Seriously, Goldline and other similar companies inflate their prices ridiculously high. Do your research and then buy locally, from someone you can see face-to-face. Companies like this usually will not accept any orders for bullion unless you buy at least $4,000 or $5,000 worth. They accept orders for numismatic coins for less than this because they have the coins marked up so much.
Goldline is a scam. My wife and I got cheated by this company about 3 months ago. They overpriced 60% more than other companies! When we made comments about it, they said that "they get their percentage of profits up front" and they give you 1-10% buy back less than the price that you pay for it! I will not reccomend this company to anybody because as far as I am concerned, they are a scam company. I don't mind to discuss this with you so you can email me at geo.xanthakos@att.net
If you are going to buy any commodity such as gold, silver, diamonds, make sure you take physical possesion or at least hold it with a reputable player.
Why should we limit the money supply to the random amount of minerals in the earths crust? Why give this power to those who control the monied commodity? Money is too important to leave to unaccountable tyrannies. It should reside with the people under democratic control.
@WilhelmDrake Unfortunately people do not think for thermselves, They now rely on others to do their thinking for them. If it's on tv, it must be true. How sad. Is This lack of parenting, or lack of education.
Personally, I do not watch tv and I was taught basic economics by my father with further education from the internet. My son in the past has persevered with economics in school, but his teacher fails him, because of differing views???
hmmmm, let's see here........Liberal Democratic Congressman wants to investigate Goldline, Democrats slip a reporting requirement for ALL business transactions over $600 into their Health Care Scheme, and Media Matters, a George Soros surrogate is going to protect us. Yeah right! Wake up and smell the coffee folks!
Do your own investigation. Gold and Silver are great investments, but you can buy bullion, Semi-numismatic, or full numismatic. Gold and Silver are legit hedge investments.
The Congressman is calling attention to possible fraud and deceptive business practices. He is not commenting about wisdom of buying gold or anything else.
It's simple. Investigate. Don't take someone's word for it...especially if they are getting anything for their glowing recommendations. And never, ever "allow" anyone (especially the salesmen for the company) to "talk you into" something else. Folks need to stop blaming others. Ignorance is their own fault. The first guy wanted bullion. He should have hung up when the salesman wasn't taking his order to his specifications. Just shows the company is smarter than the buyer. Greed. Go figure.

"they do give a money back warrenty. "
That's the problem. When people buy gold, they usally want gold, not dollars. So when they fail to deliver, you get stuck with no gold, just dollars.

In the mainstream media, yes, But if you follow the diamond market (I do not) than there exists plenty of information out there.

Why gold/silver?
Why not rhodium, americium, platinum or diamond?
Why should we limit the money supply to the random amount of minerals in the earths crust? Why give this power to those who control the monied commodity? Money is too important to leave to unaccountable tyrannies. It should reside with the people under democratic control.
