I used to fish at the damn growing up,I personally know what the landscape looks like as well as the dam and if you dont think the tonado is real I am pretty sure my brother's photos from his front yard is proof enough

there is no wikins lock in smithville you are lying to all these people saying smithville had a tornado. the last time smithville had a tornado was about 100 years from now and i thinks cameras werent invented then
@dylandecarolis7221 Just WOW! You should do some research before calling people liars. We lived this tornado and people lost everything they had and many lost their lives here! I think an apology to the poster would be nice.
Thanks so much for sharing this video with us on here!! I never seen this footage until today. Makes us evern more greatful for being alive these days. Our hearts and prayers are with each community and everyone who fell victim to these horrible ourbreak of storms this year. Thanks to all of the volunteers who have helped in so many wonderful ways!! God bless!!
As I watched this video for this first a few mins ago, I could just see the timing of about when it hit our house. Me and my 2 sons were trying to get in my sister-in-laws house and didnt make it inside. We got caught in it outside...very scary moments as the winds swept both of my boys out of my arms. We're all very lucky to be alive, even if we lost everything. I actually thought we WERE going to die that day. Just glad God was with us all that day. God bless Smithville & all areas!!
I live in Fulton. just 14 miles north of smithville. Belmont, 20 miles north of us, got hit by an F1(i used to live there, noone died) Fulton was in the middle O.O We're lucky
Wow...I was behind the house, on the waterway, when this bohemoth passed. It created the most destruction that I've personally witnessed in a long time...My heart and prayers are with you Smithville.
That Smallville tornado was caused by Superman, I betcha.

that has got to be about a mile-wide tornado, slower rotation than Tuscaloosa, great video footage, I like the building lol
jmeier37 2 months ago
@jmeier37 Half-mile wide
kdolo100 1 month ago
@jmeier37 Tuscaloosa was an EF-4, this is an EF-5. stronger rotation on this storm.

That is one of two EF5 tornadoes to hit MS in the same day- first time in history that has happened in MS. Last time was 1990 in Kansas.
