um yeh being a small guy 130lbs ive gotten elbowed by some 6 foot 180 pounder before and handled that better than the freakout that guy just had. you get a speed wobble and you relax and dont freakout and everything will be ok :)
@ClockCutter I think what surfvivor is saying is that the UScycling system is flawed when you can race only short, flat crits and get upgraded to cat II, meanwhile you are getting dropped on every hill by cat V's in the local training race (a lot of tough, weekly rides in SoCal) and it's more of a statement about American racing vs. European rather than naming anybody specifically
And you have to laugh at the fact that crit racing is....an American thing. Cracks me up when a guy is a "Cat 2" crit racer but gets dropped in a cat 5 road race.

Then you will be livid (because the fool that elbowed you literally tried to send you to the hospital), you will then ride alongside the fool, and then you will tell the fool loudly not to eff with you again. Last, remember his race number and at the end of the race ask the judge to DQ him. He might not be DQ'd but he will develop a bad rap.

That sucked. I was right on glenn's wheel and watched it unfold. From my vantage point it didn't look like any one person was to blame but it looked like Kevin went down way harder than the video showed.
