Well I play WoW - And Warhammer and conan were actually very good, they are completely different to WoW and I'd play them, if there were enough players. I think the only reason WoW is still top is because of the sheer number of people/ the social aspect.

WoW will go down soon enough. im not saying i know of a game that can beat it (just 'cause WoW has always pulled through before) but it simply has to go down eventually and its nearing its end. if WoW didnt have such extreme playerbase already, DDO and aion should take over before another mmo gets the chance (probably aion, DDO is more like WoW instances CONSTANTLY and some ppl like their pvp and its gfx are on par w/ WoW's, unlike aion which surpasses)

Sad to say that sounds alot like wishful thinking. Alot of people assumed that thsi game would go down definitely with Age Of Conan, and Warhammer. But not only did it outlast them, but it gained even MORE of a fan base. Also Aion tried, but already people talk about it like its Age Of Conan, all glitter and no substance behind it. The reason WoW succeeds is because its from a company that has a legacy of success in all other games as well. WoW will end at some point, but not soon lol.
