This makes no sense... when Jak activated the precursors stone in the second game what came out of it? Was it the image projection from the center of the earth? What is the difference between a metal head and a dark precursor? Is a dark precursor a dark ottsel? why are the other ottsels so large? why would Damos name his son mar when he was from the CLAN mar... How did Vieger know that jak was the boy grown up? Why didn't jak save damos with his white eco powers? DAMN YOU JAK 3! LRN2CANON
@BahamutRhapsody It was a projection; the Precursors mentioned that they used those to "fluff up the myth" and because they were reasonably sure the elves wouldn't take them seriously if they knew they were orange, fluffy rats.
@BahamutRhapsody It's never been confirmed what the relationship between the DM and MH are, but considering what Jak says to Cyber Errol when he reveals he's been working with the DM -- "They don't play nicely with others; just ask the Metal Heads" -- it makes me think that the DM and MH had some kind of relationship. Either the DM created the MH, or the MH were creatures warped by Dark Eco too. But they were working together, however tenuously.
@BahamutRhapsody We haven't seen a Dark Precursor. We've seen Dark Makers, but it's never confirmed whether they're the same thing. Remember the robots the good Precursors use? These look like warped versions of them; there's a good chance that the DM had sent in drones to attack Jak.
@BahamutRhapsody Damas isn't from the "clan Mar", no one ever says that. It's in his bloodline, but it'd be a lot to assume that it would operate as a last name. He named him Mar in honor of the hero (personally I like to think he named him Mar because he was born on the anniversary of Mar's birth ;)).
@Otana Jak is mar, at the end they tell jak that he will have many more adventures in "the past or was it the furute?" I think that jak found a way to time travel, went back in time, and created haven city. Jak is obviously mar. His name is mar!
@BahamutRhapsody Veger had access to a lot of the DWP paperwork (seen in Daxter). While he didn't work on the project he was aware of it, and Erol told him point blank that Jak was special. Veger was a smart cookie; he could piece together what had happened much quicker than Jak. Besides, he was obsessed with Precursors and their tech, who else would believe in a time travel portal without seeing it?
