  • hey dude cool vid and project... one q. by any chance did your program involved cepstrum recognition? i'm working on a similar (if not the same) project for my internship (not sure if that's the right word..) Anyways, if you could provide more insight and/or hints it would be great, man

  • hi..good job on this application,I emailed u several times i guess u didnt recevie them..i was wondering if u can help me with labVIEW voice recognition feature, for instance by me saying lights on i want to turn a light on etc.

    unfortunately ... this is a very very old program that I wrote and I do not have it handy anymore to show you!

    but it is now super easy to do what I did back then. All you need is to install Microsoft Speech SDK on your Windows machine (it is already installed with your Vista or 7) and then use the APIs for that in your LabVIEW program to capture voice commands.

    again, it is super easy now that they have a sample example of it in the NI's website ...

  • the interface using this program would be through NI DAQ USB 2009 the white thing you see at the beginning of the video.

    Depending on your chair the controller would be different.
