You know what I found awesome yet hilarious about this game? Every bad guy that said he could challenge, defeat, or become God dies almost immediately after saying it. I love Xenosaga. XD
@kaitoyojimbo Nope, the soundtracks are in the same key to my ears in a musical view... I was able to play tip of the spear and this back to back in D standard tuning on guitar.
Loving this theme! My PS2 crapped out on me prior to this being released, so I wasn't able to get this episode;_;. 5 years later, managed to fix my PS2, and somehow a copy of this game eludes me -_- I have to say though, the way the chorus starts up kinda reminds me of some .hack tracks :D

@DBoy2029 Promised Pain was the final boss theme for Xenosaga 3. This was the boss theme for the fight against a machine powered by the ultimate energy source.
@TheInsaneKitsune What are you talking about? Madoka came way after this. Besides, Yuki Kajiura did the soundtracks for both, so there's no "copying", unless you think it's a crime for an artist to copy their own style?

I hate all the comments about the 48 people who don't like this. i mean really how many videos do people have to post these in? they are getting annoying. I love this music and I am going to put it on my MP3.
i definetly agree for zarathustra and metempshychosis to be so epic yet so relatively easy compared to other weaker bosses was disappointing although i must say that when i first fought zarathustra i lost a few times cause i was horribly under leveled i dont even know how i got past kevin
@kitsunade What?! How'd you beat Kevin and not Zarathustra? Kevin is the 2nd hardest boss in the game below Omega ID. Not saying you suck but I find it unbelievable.
@Joehop777 well when i got to this point in the game i was only around lvl 40 something i think so it was extremly difficult. the regular battles with the gnosis were tough so i had to avoid them. i think i died twice against kevin and i died like 5 against zarathustra cause i couldnt keep him from turning back time cause i didnt have powerful enough skills i had to go back and lvl up a bit then i came in and beat him but it was a long battle
@Joehop777 You forget Erde Kaiser Sigma. He is far, far, FAR more difficult than either Kevin or Omega Id. I mean, sure, Kevin and Omega Id hit hard, but Sigma can one shot anyone, even a fully tanked-up Ziggy, assuming the player doesn't know how to use Heat of course (which also makes beating Kevin relatively easy).
@KeizerXilian Sigma isn't that hard. I'd list him as a number 3 hard boss though. As long as you have all the Erde Kaiser's from Original, Fury, and Dark you'd be fine. Otherwise hes almost impossible to beat.
@Joehop777 I ended up killing it without Dark (no guide so I kinda just stumbled upon Sigma first) which actually made it easier since it stays in one mode. Lost once, then gave Kosmos the absorb-physical accessory and kept using her uber-defense ether, Shion and Momo HP+ stuff and the half-fire-dmg accessory and just have them cast fire and heal. Takes forever but it's safe.
@Joehop777 Kevin wasnt all that hard. but to me, margulis (E.S Levi) was the second hardest boss in the game next to OmegaID because it took so long to be him
@nafis100 u are so right i cried at the battle with kevin because i kept losing and i get like that when i lose for about the 10 time but margulis at the end god not event all the life of ur e.s was enought and dont get me started on omegaID i danced like creazy when i got to bit him and i jumped out of my bed when he shuted down XD
Her work really improved in Tsubasa, and Kara no Kyoukai is Yuki Kajiura's crowning masterpiece. She even founded Kalafina specifically to sing the ending themes she composed for it.
Yes, because 46+ people clicking 'dislike' for a song, either through trolling or just genuinely not liking the song, is an event and factor that has some sort of relation to an apocalpyse that has an almost zero percent chance of occuring. Simply marvelous logic there, lad.
The entire sight and proof of someone agreeing with you on that truly does nothing but endlessly baffle my mind.
@AjiraCtelin1993 Ah. Really I don't get why an educational facility would give a crap if you're swearing or not. By now it's just standard language. Honestly, everyone's probably blurted out a swear of fifteen in frustration, so I don't see why anyone cares. At all.
It's like the world is run by either ninety-year-olds or nine-year-olds.
In all seriousness, though, if I see someone being an ignorant twat, I'm going to call them out on it. Besides, I'm happy, and I'm not doing anyone any REAL harm, so by your logic, shouldn't YOU leave ME be?
@DrolKeegEht I wasn't trolling you, nor was I trying to start a fight. Yes, I know what butthurt means. I was just pointing out there's no reason to go on ranting about a comment that was obviously an innocent joke.
@Slightlybaka And I'm sure you don't know what insane troll logic is, either. And yes, I am going to go on ranting about a comment that was a joke made in ignorance and stupidity, because I'm sick of people thinking that anyone who doesn't agree with their opinion or whatever is some kind of moron.
Welcome to the internet, if it's not ranting it's probably singing praise of something else.
The world is full of ignorance that people need to rid themselves of. Sadly, most people won't. It's all because the majority of people in the world play a contrived game of follow the leader, with the "people who dislike x have y happen" meme being part of it. Since some people have started doing that, it was only a matter of time until the followers of this game choose these people as their leader, and thus following blindly over the cliff or into a glue bottle.
It's innocent when it's only a few people. It's stupid, pointless, and annoying when it clutters the comment section, drowning out the relevant comments. I have no problem when a meme is used, but there is such a thing as overuse and that joke became nothing more than idiotic clutter. Not everyone enjoys it.
@laughingfurry Personally, I do enjoy it and apparently tons of people do as well. Aren't you being a little hypocritical? You say everyone shouldn't "follow the leader" and should believe what they want, but then you criticize people for voicing their opinions in a humorous manner just because YOU don't like it. If you're so sure of your beliefs, why not quit using the term "retarded"? (continued)
@laughingfurry (continued) I tutor mentally slow children and using that term offends me, but I cannot change what people are saying and believe in freedom of speech. Like making irrelevant jokes, using said term harms no one, and just because I don't enjoy it doesn't mean other people don't; therefore I have learned to live with it.
I see I have tons to elaborate on, seeing how an explanation is needed.
Part 1:
Now, while alot of people do enjoy it, most people do so simply because they want to fit in, they want to look normal. After seeing a few other people doing it of their own volition, many will follow. Now, not everyone follows to be a part. I agree that some do follow just because they think it's funny, but most people follow along just to feel that sense of "being part of the community."
As for my criticism being hypocritical, I don't think I am being a hypocrite. See, often times these comments involve something harmful happening to the people who disliked it, followed by the harmful event being vaguely relevant to the video. Some of which being quite hurtful, as if to say those who dislike deserve something bad to happen. Now, many will aim for the hurtful comments because they know fans will thumb it up, which in turn helps their ego.
Now, I am not going to say others have done so to fit in or help their pathetic ego. Some do actually do so in a comical way that is in no way offending. Others do so simply to troll a fandom. For the most part, the habits of most online are for self gratification and a feeling of community that they otherwise can't achieve on their own merits. Perhaps I'm getting my facts mixed, but with how vague and offending most of these meme uses are, my conclusion remains.
Now, you want evidence of what I say. Well, to be honest, it is more like an observation. I am aware of people with big egos. I've actually got into arguments with other people that have degraded greatly because such people will do anything to make themselves superior to me. With such arguments, I conceded because there was no way to go against those who are full of themselves. Just the same, I've seen others get into such arguments.
Along with these arguments, I have observed many people go into a state of fanaticism. Just the same, I've seen people take advantage of such people simply so they would have "their own army." Like follow the leader. If you want proof of this, then look up the drama relating to Sonic the Hedgehog or the "anime vs cartoon" arguments. The relative actions people take, like the green eyes petition, are what my opinion is based on. Do I even need to reference Twilight?
As for the word "retarded". I did not use that word in the comments here. It was the other guy who did. However, I have used it in a similar context, so I assume an explanation is needed on that.
Retard is defined as held back, hindered, and delayed. Only in slang is it used to describe stupid, foolish, or mentally disabled people. While mental retardation is a general term for anyone with a handicap that hinders their mental process, it is offending.
Some people still use retard to describe something that is hindered or held back. I suppose some of us should just say delay, hinder, or held back. All to avoid offending ignorant people such as yourself. Regardless, you really should take into the consideration of the context of a sentence. He has said the mindset is "retarded and ignorant", but he isn't saying anything in regards to the handicapped. He's saying how the mindset is holding everyone back.
If you don't like someone using slang, even when it doesn't follow that definition, then why would you want to support a meme that is perhaps more hurtful? There are people who will blindly use the "x dislikes have something bad happen" meme in more hurtful ways. Do you support comments like "5 people need to get in a car accident" or "200 people should be hit by a nuke"? Or the countless times the same sentence is posted constantly?
@laughingfurry (P1) Part 2 was posted an entire hour before part 1. Are you really not so capable of having a legitimate debate that you have to drag insults into this? Okay, where is your proof of anything you just said that proves that there is something beyond the comments other than innocent humor? I'm still waiting for an answer. The fact that you have argued with people who have posted such things is not a statistic that proves most people do not do it for fun.
@laughingfurry (P2) The "(number of people who dislike the video) were/are/have/etc (blank, blank blank)" is an YouTube fad that only started after said website changed its layout. For example, if "Charlie Bit My Finger" had 10,001 dislikes, one person might say "10,001 people got their finger bit," and once on one "Phantom of the Opera" video, one person said something like "21 people were shaking from the epicness of this music and they accidentally hit the dislike button."
@laughingfurry (P3) Yes, it has gone to unecessary extremes such as "200 people will get shot" or "300 people will die in a fire," but there is a world of differences between THREATS and innocent jokes. I apologize for mistaking another's comment for yours. I have nothing against using the word in place of "slow" or "delayed."
@laughingfurry (P4) However, the people I get angry with for using it in place of the word stupid say "That's so retarded" or "this outfit looks retarded" because one is obviously not saying "That's so slow" or "this outfit looks slow." The comment "My point is that 'zomg peeplz dun liek dis vid' is a retarded and ignorant mindset" could be used in both contexts.
@laughingfurry (P5) If he was referring to the mindset holding everything back, I would indeed retract my statement; however if he was referring to it being similar to that of mentally disabled people, I stand my ground. For the last thing, no I do not support death threats, however most of the uses of the meme are indeed not death threats. Shouldn't you be against the death threats rather than the joke itself?
With me taking so long, I am one of those unfortunate people who must put up with constant phone calls on a daily basis. I get it on my house phone and sometimes on my cell phone. Also, I was trying to figure out how to fit so much into so little space. With the phone calls, I lost my train of thought a few times. If we were talking face to face, it would be different.
In regards to the meme, it is true that not everyone is so violent with it. However, there is no mistaken that seeing comments like the one for a "Phantom of the Opera" video get reposted nonstop is ridiculous. It creates clutter. It also creates clutter when the only comment you can see on a video are that meme. It's pretty much like Ad nauseam. Many find the uncreative overuse to be irritating when it's unnecessary.
As for the whole ego thing, it's just something that seams to make the most sense to me. I've seen arguments degrade into ego propelled nonsense. Rants on Sonic the Hedgehog are loaded with this.
I've also read comments made just for the sake of everyone on the video giving that person a thumbs up.
I'm not a psychology major, so I could very well be wrong. However, I am very observant and my observations lead me to believe it is dominantly about ego.
@laughingfurry (P2) Anyway, I don't understand why you have to mix up the overuse of the meme with ego. Internet fads will always be overused; that's what internet fads are. I really do think there is a better way for defeating trolling than attacking the meme as a whole if many people do use it responsibly; say, argue against the people who are making death threats toward the people merely because they do not agree with their opinion, rather than argue against people who are merely joking.
I mention egotistical people because they will do what seams to be popular for the sake of self importance and attention. I don't know how else to say it, but that is how I see it.
As for internet fads, I don't know what to say. It seams what is a meme now is unknown in the next week unless it's stupid and easily imitated. I'm just annoyed, like others, with the senselessness of ignorant people online. I often hate the bubble crash because of it.
@laughingfurry (P3) Most irrelevant comments are not of or related to the meme, therefore shouldn't you be arguing irrelevancy in the comments section by itself? The meme will died out in a year or so anyway, and the irrelevancy will still remain as well as with people vaunting their egos.
While not more irrelevant comments are, many of related to meme are actually irrelevant. However, when it is relevant, it is also irritating when it is done on a constant basis. The hate isn't on the meme itself, but the majority of the people who abuse it. It just seams like most of us hate the meme because we bad mouth it's overuse.
@laughingfurry (P4) As for the "retarded" thing, I disagree in the context that most people are not referring to the word in an offensive way. I have seen many people on Youtube who use the word in a misinterpratative context call someone "retarded" or "a retard," and calling someone a "retard" is of course referring to a mentally disabled person.
Alot of us who get agitated by the constant overuse of something do have the tendency of getting extremely agitated. Because something is a constant annoyance, we as humans will eventually react in the most primitive, often childish, ways. Almost like a fly buzzing around you constantly. Unless your saintly, or at least forgiving, you're going to kill that fly. It's the same with the overuse of something. Many of us want to swat it away.
As for the "retarded" thing, I'm glad we both are pretty much on the same page. Also, I see what you mean by how his comment can be seen as either. I do say it is very ignorant to say "clothes are retarded" and similar words, but I don't hold it against those people. Chances are they heard it used in a fitting context and misunderstood what the word meant. I draw this conclusion thanks to watch?v=ir_7NJGhvsM.
@laughingfurry (P1) Personally, I like to write down whatever I have to say on Microsoft Notepad, split it into sections, then post it on YouTube. You can take as long as you want replying to me, however I don't appreciate something like "You're sure living up to your screen name if you can't understand that" because you're basically saying I'm living up to being an idiot in translation.
In regards to (P1), I tend to be a jerk at times. Bad habits die hard. Besides, I was saying your being slightly foolish, not completely stupid. There is a difference.
This is a nice song, is it a boss battle? This should be the song when Kos-Mos transforms into "Xenogears"

@Joehop777 well when i got to this point in the game i was only around lvl 40 something i think so it was extremly difficult. the regular battles with the gnosis were tough so i had to avoid them. i think i died twice against kevin and i died like 5 against zarathustra cause i couldnt keep him from turning back time cause i didnt have powerful enough skills i had to go back and lvl up a bit then i came in and beat him but it was a long battle
kitsunade 1 year ago
@Joehop777 i also beat omega ID on my first try but i was alot stonger by the time i reached him
kitsunade 1 year ago
@Joehop777 You forget Erde Kaiser Sigma. He is far, far, FAR more difficult than either Kevin or Omega Id. I mean, sure, Kevin and Omega Id hit hard, but Sigma can one shot anyone, even a fully tanked-up Ziggy, assuming the player doesn't know how to use Heat of course (which also makes beating Kevin relatively easy).
KeizerXilian 1 year ago
@KeizerXilian Sigma isn't that hard. I'd list him as a number 3 hard boss though. As long as you have all the Erde Kaiser's from Original, Fury, and Dark you'd be fine. Otherwise hes almost impossible to beat.
Joehop777 1 year ago
@Joehop777 I ended up killing it without Dark (no guide so I kinda just stumbled upon Sigma first) which actually made it easier since it stays in one mode. Lost once, then gave Kosmos the absorb-physical accessory and kept using her uber-defense ether, Shion and Momo HP+ stuff and the half-fire-dmg accessory and just have them cast fire and heal. Takes forever but it's safe.
Kerberoz01 10 months ago
@Joehop777 Kevin wasnt all that hard. but to me, margulis (E.S Levi) was the second hardest boss in the game next to OmegaID because it took so long to be him
nafis100 6 months ago
@nafis100 u are so right i cried at the battle with kevin because i kept losing and i get like that when i lose for about the 10 time but margulis at the end god not event all the life of ur e.s was enought and dont get me started on omegaID i danced like creazy when i got to bit him and i jumped out of my bed when he shuted down XD

DrolKeegEht 6 months ago
@DrolKeegEht Made a note that we should stop commenting on how many people disliked the vid.
And that comment was sent on a college server. I don't think I can afford to use any other form of censorship and still get into this college.

@AjiraCtelin1993 Ah. Really I don't get why an educational facility would give a crap if you're swearing or not. By now it's just standard language. Honestly, everyone's probably blurted out a swear of fifteen in frustration, so I don't see why anyone cares. At all.

@Slightlybaka Normally I would insult you, but I think that you'll feel silly enough once you google the term "butthurt."
If you do you'll realize only way you COULD view me as butthurt in this situation is if you're using insane troll logic.
DrolKeegEht 5 months ago
@DrolKeegEht I wasn't trolling you, nor was I trying to start a fight. Yes, I know what butthurt means. I was just pointing out there's no reason to go on ranting about a comment that was obviously an innocent joke.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka And I'm sure you don't know what insane troll logic is, either. And yes, I am going to go on ranting about a comment that was a joke made in ignorance and stupidity, because I'm sick of people thinking that anyone who doesn't agree with their opinion or whatever is some kind of moron.
Welcome to the internet, if it's not ranting it's probably singing praise of something else.
DrolKeegEht 5 months ago
@DrolKeegEht Nobody thought anyone was a moron. It's an innocent joke. It harms no one and everyone enjoys them.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka You're missing my point. My point is that "zomg peeplz dun liek dis vid" is a retarded and ignorant mindset that we need to dump.
DrolKeegEht 5 months ago
@DrolKeegEht
The world is full of ignorance that people need to rid themselves of. Sadly, most people won't. It's all because the majority of people in the world play a contrived game of follow the leader, with the "people who dislike x have y happen" meme being part of it. Since some people have started doing that, it was only a matter of time until the followers of this game choose these people as their leader, and thus following blindly over the cliff or into a glue bottle.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
It's innocent when it's only a few people. It's stupid, pointless, and annoying when it clutters the comment section, drowning out the relevant comments. I have no problem when a meme is used, but there is such a thing as overuse and that joke became nothing more than idiotic clutter. Not everyone enjoys it.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
Comment removed
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry Personally, I do enjoy it and apparently tons of people do as well. Aren't you being a little hypocritical? You say everyone shouldn't "follow the leader" and should believe what they want, but then you criticize people for voicing their opinions in a humorous manner just because YOU don't like it. If you're so sure of your beliefs, why not quit using the term "retarded"? (continued)
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (continued) I tutor mentally slow children and using that term offends me, but I cannot change what people are saying and believe in freedom of speech. Like making irrelevant jokes, using said term harms no one, and just because I don't enjoy it doesn't mean other people don't; therefore I have learned to live with it.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
I agree that some do follow just because they think it's funny, but most people follow along just to feel that sense of "being part of the community."
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry Where is your evidence for this? By the way, "alot" isn't a word; the correct term is "a lot."
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Wait until I'm done typing. "Part 1" is in my post for a reason. You're sure living up to your screen name if you can't understand that.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 2:
As for my criticism being hypocritical, I don't think I am being a hypocrite. See, often times these comments involve something harmful happening to the people who disliked it, followed by the harmful event being vaguely relevant to the video. Some of which being quite hurtful, as if to say those who dislike deserve something bad to happen. Now, many will aim for the hurtful comments because they know fans will thumb it up, which in turn helps their ego.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 3:
Now, I am not going to say others have done so to fit in or help their pathetic ego. Some do actually do so in a comical way that is in no way offending. Others do so simply to troll a fandom. For the most part, the habits of most online are for self gratification and a feeling of community that they otherwise can't achieve on their own merits. Perhaps I'm getting my facts mixed, but with how vague and offending most of these meme uses are, my conclusion remains.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 4:
Now, you want evidence of what I say. Well, to be honest, it is more like an observation. I am aware of people with big egos. I've actually got into arguments with other people that have degraded greatly because such people will do anything to make themselves superior to me. With such arguments, I conceded because there was no way to go against those who are full of themselves. Just the same, I've seen others get into such arguments.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 5:
Along with these arguments, I have observed many people go into a state of fanaticism. Just the same, I've seen people take advantage of such people simply so they would have "their own army." Like follow the leader. If you want proof of this, then look up the drama relating to Sonic the Hedgehog or the "anime vs cartoon" arguments. The relative actions people take, like the green eyes petition, are what my opinion is based on. Do I even need to reference Twilight?
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 6:
As for the word "retarded". I did not use that word in the comments here. It was the other guy who did. However, I have used it in a similar context, so I assume an explanation is needed on that.
Retard is defined as held back, hindered, and delayed. Only in slang is it used to describe stupid, foolish, or mentally disabled people. While mental retardation is a general term for anyone with a handicap that hinders their mental process, it is offending.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 7:
Some people still use retard to describe something that is hindered or held back. I suppose some of us should just say delay, hinder, or held back. All to avoid offending ignorant people such as yourself. Regardless, you really should take into the consideration of the context of a sentence. He has said the mindset is "retarded and ignorant", but he isn't saying anything in regards to the handicapped. He's saying how the mindset is holding everyone back.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 8:
If you don't like someone using slang, even when it doesn't follow that definition, then why would you want to support a meme that is perhaps more hurtful? There are people who will blindly use the "x dislikes have something bad happen" meme in more hurtful ways. Do you support comments like "5 people need to get in a car accident" or "200 people should be hit by a nuke"? Or the countless times the same sentence is posted constantly?
Well, that is what I have to say.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P1) Part 2 was posted an entire hour before part 1. Are you really not so capable of having a legitimate debate that you have to drag insults into this? Okay, where is your proof of anything you just said that proves that there is something beyond the comments other than innocent humor? I'm still waiting for an answer. The fact that you have argued with people who have posted such things is not a statistic that proves most people do not do it for fun.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P2) The "(number of people who dislike the video) were/are/have/etc (blank, blank blank)" is an YouTube fad that only started after said website changed its layout. For example, if "Charlie Bit My Finger" had 10,001 dislikes, one person might say "10,001 people got their finger bit," and once on one "Phantom of the Opera" video, one person said something like "21 people were shaking from the epicness of this music and they accidentally hit the dislike button."
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P3) Yes, it has gone to unecessary extremes such as "200 people will get shot" or "300 people will die in a fire," but there is a world of differences between THREATS and innocent jokes. I apologize for mistaking another's comment for yours. I have nothing against using the word in place of "slow" or "delayed."
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P4) However, the people I get angry with for using it in place of the word stupid say "That's so retarded" or "this outfit looks retarded" because one is obviously not saying "That's so slow" or "this outfit looks slow." The comment "My point is that 'zomg peeplz dun liek dis vid' is a retarded and ignorant mindset" could be used in both contexts.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P5) If he was referring to the mindset holding everything back, I would indeed retract my statement; however if he was referring to it being similar to that of mentally disabled people, I stand my ground. For the last thing, no I do not support death threats, however most of the uses of the meme are indeed not death threats. Shouldn't you be against the death threats rather than the joke itself?
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 1:
With me taking so long, I am one of those unfortunate people who must put up with constant phone calls on a daily basis. I get it on my house phone and sometimes on my cell phone. Also, I was trying to figure out how to fit so much into so little space. With the phone calls, I lost my train of thought a few times. If we were talking face to face, it would be different.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 2:
In regards to the meme, it is true that not everyone is so violent with it. However, there is no mistaken that seeing comments like the one for a "Phantom of the Opera" video get reposted nonstop is ridiculous. It creates clutter. It also creates clutter when the only comment you can see on a video are that meme. It's pretty much like Ad nauseam. Many find the uncreative overuse to be irritating when it's unnecessary.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 3:
As for the whole ego thing, it's just something that seams to make the most sense to me. I've seen arguments degrade into ego propelled nonsense. Rants on Sonic the Hedgehog are loaded with this.
I've also read comments made just for the sake of everyone on the video giving that person a thumbs up.
I'm not a psychology major, so I could very well be wrong. However, I am very observant and my observations lead me to believe it is dominantly about ego.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P2) Anyway, I don't understand why you have to mix up the overuse of the meme with ego. Internet fads will always be overused; that's what internet fads are. I really do think there is a better way for defeating trolling than attacking the meme as a whole if many people do use it responsibly; say, argue against the people who are making death threats toward the people merely because they do not agree with their opinion, rather than argue against people who are merely joking.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
In regards to (P2)...
I often hate the bubble crash because of it.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P3) Most irrelevant comments are not of or related to the meme, therefore shouldn't you be arguing irrelevancy in the comments section by itself? The meme will died out in a year or so anyway, and the irrelevancy will still remain as well as with people vaunting their egos.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
In regards to (P3)...
While not more irrelevant comments are, many of related to meme are actually irrelevant. However, when it is relevant, it is also irritating when it is done on a constant basis. The hate isn't on the meme itself, but the majority of the people who abuse it. It just seams like most of us hate the meme because we bad mouth it's overuse.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P4) As for the "retarded" thing, I disagree in the context that most people are not referring to the word in an offensive way. I have seen many people on Youtube who use the word in a misinterpratative context call someone "retarded" or "a retard," and calling someone a "retard" is of course referring to a mentally disabled person.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
I do want to say one final thing.
Many of us want to swat it away.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
Part 4:
As for the "retarded" thing, I'm glad we both are pretty much on the same page. Also, I see what you mean by how his comment can be seen as either. I do say it is very ignorant to say "clothes are retarded" and similar words, but I don't hold it against those people. Chances are they heard it used in a fitting context and misunderstood what the word meant. I draw this conclusion thanks to watch?v=ir_7NJGhvsM.
That's all I have to say.
laughingfurry 5 months ago
@laughingfurry (P1) Personally, I like to write down whatever I have to say on Microsoft Notepad, split it into sections, then post it on YouTube. You can take as long as you want replying to me, however I don't appreciate something like "You're sure living up to your screen name if you can't understand that" because you're basically saying I'm living up to being an idiot in translation.
Slightlybaka 5 months ago
@Slightlybaka
In regards to (P1), I tend to be a jerk at times. Bad habits die hard. Besides, I was saying your being slightly foolish, not completely stupid. There is a difference.
