Ok still a hungry bedroom DJ and I'm pretty sold on this mixer. Just curious when you start playing big night clubs do I bring my mixer or is there a "house mixer" see cause I'm going to be using Ableton with a four channel strip in this mixer and obliviouslly I will need my own mixer to run Ableton. So when I start rocking clubs will I make alot of people angry that I have all this equipment?
It all depends on how you use Ableton. But it will be a quicker setup, if you bring your own mixer. You only need to connect your mixer's output to an input on a house mixer.
Why did you choose for the rotary version of the xone? Im considering to buy a xone 92 perhaps the R version, but most people buy the regular fader edition so I doubt about it. I don't want to regret after purchasing a rotary mixer.
You have better control on the levels while mixing. However, it only suits centain genre. I play house and I like long mixes. It works very well. I don't think it is suited for HIP HOP, since they do a lot of "cut" mixing.
lovin' it!

I think you get better control of the volume and transitions on a rotary mixer :)

You can run the out to a free mixer line in. Setup a fader to control tempo. Play your clip and use fader to sync like a turntable.
