the "blonde lady" is named Gwen Stacy. in the comics of spider-man, i think that she was his first love, but he was framed for killing her father, so she hated him, and the green goblin killed her and threw her off a bridge, and spidey ended up saving Gwen's dead body.
Hollywood is wack. I love the spidey movies (Toby McGuire lol) but the black suit is an alien in the comics. I don't think that's what their doing here, is it?
