  • Nice video, how long can u run the engine on one full tank? N how big is the tank

  • @oakland002 It's a 5 gallon tank and the engine burns about 2 gallons an hour - depending on how hard you run it. Thanks for watching.

  • what is the full name of this aircraft ?

  • @hijodelrocio Sabre ultralight trike.

  • Are you going to put the camera forward on future flights?

  • @videocommenter67 Thanks for watching and check out the rest of my videos for different camera perspectives. I do plan on putting my GoPro on a stick some day. The weather here hasn't been cooperative for flying that much.

  • @wrdturkey Okay, cool thank you. : )

  • Que lindo como se va paseando!! Yo tambien quiero volar es lindo :-D

  • give me the finger if if you thought that said fail landing when you clicked it

  • Is it not possible to put a larger gas tank on these trikes for more airtime or longer flights?

  • @Quick2000 Five gallons is the maximum for an ultralight in the U.S. If you want to carry passengers or more than 5 gallons of fuel, you will need to get a license. Five gallons, with this engine, will last close to 3 hours. It depends on how you fly. Thanks for watching.

  • Man, that looks like a lot of fun. :)

  • Are you allowed to just take off and land anywhere? Supposing it's not someone elses private property? Like have you ever landed in a park when no one was there or something? And finally, would u be able to take off from your own property?

  • @jacksonofalltrades You want to be considerate of other peoples property and privacy. Try not to upset your neighbors by getting their permission. You also have limitations on where you can fly by the FAA. (ie. - you can't fly over congested areas.) Yes - you can fly from your own field or a friendly farmers field.

  • @wrdturkey

Well dang. I live in a pretty busy area in california. Not an all out city but there aren't many fields or anything. Guess I'd just have to drive somewhere.

  • this is sick does the flight ever go wrong like well engine stopping or something like that?

  • How far can you fly till u run out of gas?

  • @jakoi945 About 2 hours.

  • give me a one ride in that one! nice flight

which is the engine hooked upon it?

  • A Kawasaki 340 engine.

  • whats the name from the song

  • I don't know. It's one of the many jingles that came with my MacBook.

  • waouh

  • I really love that little trike, I wish there was more simple single seaters around in the UK, all the big high performance 912 powered machines get boring after a while.

  • Thank you. I hope you have many safe flights.

  • nicely done on the landing and good flight- fly high, fly free, fly safe.

  • arnt trikes just GREAT..real wright brother stuff..ha ha..love the music in this video..take care and fly safe

  • nice landing!!!

  • how many hours can you fly on a full tank of gas?

  • About 2 hours. 2 1/2 if you like to take chances.

  • Hi There again sorry to bother you may I ask what the tune is called and who it is by please

    Best Wishes

    Nick

  • Sorry Nick. It's one of the many jingles that came with my MacBook. I think it's called "Sunrise".

  • Watched your videos. Very nice flying. Were you a pilot before you got the Sabre? I have looked and Sabre must not be in business any longer. Cant find them on line.

You have an easy touch with the Sabre, great flying !

  • Thanks, and thanks for watching. I started out hang gliding, moved to powered hang gliding, and now trikes. You're right. Sabre is not in business anymore. It's a shame. It's a good flying machine.

  • Nice landing! check out some of mine if you want

  • well done, good video, good song, you people who fly whith those flying birds are preveliged, I love to have one of those, ho knows some day i will .....tanks again for you video and keep puting more , you are doing a greath job, cya...

  • Thanks. The pleasure was all mine.

  • nice video!!!

  • nice. ;)

  • is it homemade?

  • Nope. I bought it ready to fly in 1996.

  • for how much?

  • $6995

  • Nice video. But how safe is that? Be honest now. There seem to be so many accounts of ultralight crashes.

  • Sorry for double post.

  • It's as safe as YOU make it. You can fly with a very narrow margin for safety and take a risk, or you can fly conservatively with a wide margin for safety. Just flying low and slow gives me the adrenaline rush I need. There's a saying I once heard - "I'm not afraid of dying. I'm afraid of not living before I die". Thanks for watching my video.

  • Where is the throttle on that?

  • I have a foot throttle for my right foot and I have a hand throttle mounted on the right side of my seat frame. Thanks for watching.

  • Thanks wrdturkey

  • You're welcome. Thanks for watching.

  • Nice fall colors.

  • Another great! video Wayne.

I missed the whole fall flying this year. Was just too dang busy. I really wanted to get some video of the trees and scenery in the fall colors.

Oh well, I hope I'm around next year to catch it.
