@videocommenter67 Thanks for watching and check out the rest of my videos for different camera perspectives. I do plan on putting my GoPro on a stick some day. The weather here hasn't been cooperative for flying that much.
@Quick2000 Five gallons is the maximum for an ultralight in the U.S. If you want to carry passengers or more than 5 gallons of fuel, you will need to get a license. Five gallons, with this engine, will last close to 3 hours. It depends on how you fly. Thanks for watching.
Are you allowed to just take off and land anywhere? Supposing it's not someone elses private property? Like have you ever landed in a park when no one was there or something? And finally, would u be able to take off from your own property?
@jacksonofalltrades You want to be considerate of other peoples property and privacy. Try not to upset your neighbors by getting their permission. You also have limitations on where you can fly by the FAA. (ie. - you can't fly over congested areas.) Yes - you can fly from your own field or a friendly farmers field.
Well dang. I live in a pretty busy area in california. Not an all out city but there aren't many fields or anything. Guess I'd just have to drive somewhere.
I really love that little trike, I wish there was more simple single seaters around in the UK, all the big high performance 912 powered machines get boring after a while.
Watched your videos. Very nice flying. Were you a pilot before you got the Sabre? I have looked and Sabre must not be in business any longer. Cant find them on line.
You have an easy touch with the Sabre, great flying !
Thanks, and thanks for watching. I started out hang gliding, moved to powered hang gliding, and now trikes. You're right. Sabre is not in business anymore. It's a shame. It's a good flying machine.
well done, good video, good song, you people who fly whith those flying birds are preveliged, I love to have one of those, ho knows some day i will .....tanks again for you video and keep puting more , you are doing a greath job, cya...
It's as safe as YOU make it. You can fly with a very narrow margin for safety and take a risk, or you can fly conservatively with a wide margin for safety. Just flying low and slow gives me the adrenaline rush I need. There's a saying I once heard - "I'm not afraid of dying. I'm afraid of not living before I die". Thanks for watching my video.
Nice video, how long can u run the engine on one full tank? N how big is the tank
oakland002 3 months ago
@oakland002 It's a 5 gallon tank and the engine burns about 2 gallons an hour - depending on how hard you run it. Thanks for watching.

Nive video. But how safe is that? Be honest now. There seem to be so many accounts of crashes.
