That´s true. Bobby Farrell didn´t sing in most of the songs. Sadly that was Frank Farian´s trade too! Just show a nice good-looking boy with no voice (do you remember Milli Vanilli?) in order to keep the performance. But what the hell! this group was the biggest sucess back in the seventies! They were based in Germany and worked under Frank Farian, the same man who later discovered Milli Vanilli. Two of the group's three female members were from Jamaica, the other was from Montserrat and Bobby Farrell was from Aruba.

Frank Farian also invented the group Boney M as a front band to perform, Do You Wanna Bump? on television. Frank sang the lead male vocals on all of his (boney m) songs throughout the '70's. Bobby (who was sacked in '81) was finally allowed to record his vocals in the '80's. The group did actually sing the songs live onstage unlike Milli Vanilli who lip synced to vocal tracks and sadly paid a high price for it.
