  • Bästa låten någonsin..

  • Отличная песня! Скучаю по тем временам.

  • love the man dance...awesome crazy good........

  • the audience look like they are in different place :))

  • @bhdrcool Seriously!! they are all either miserable bastards or they have been ordered to sit still and be quiet during the performance. LOL it looks so funny

  • Да, вот такие вот русские. Мы еще покажем миру кузькину мать!

  • I'm a aussie and i love Bonnie M music

  • hmmmm...frank farian...hmmmm...milli vanilli...hmmmm...boney m...i see a connection here...does anyone else?...does that mean that boney m got away with something that milli vanilli did not?...by the way, i always felt bad for milli vanilli...they signed a contract that basically said they could only mime...

  • WARNING: Once you notice that mellow gum-chewing, mustachioed dude in the audience, eventually your mind locks on him and you stop noticing anything else.

  • @selatik1 You son of a bitch.

  • Dude. Rasputin was bad motherfucker if he didn't die through all that shit, and needed to be drowned, then was confirmed his death was from Hypothermia.

  • Ra , Ra........ you are fab- hai- oh god :

  • ECSTASY AND FIRE

  • was bobby farrell gay?

  • @lotfijalal no

  • @lotfijalal Ten je píchal všechny! :D

  • look at the hair of that guy sit by the stage. big sideburn.

  • That´s true. Bobby Farrell didn´t sing in most of the songs. Sadly that was Frank Farian´s trade too! Just show a nice good-looking boy with no voice (do you remember Milli Vanilli?) in order to keep the performance. But what the hell! this group was the biggest sucess back in the seventies! By the way, I really loved Bobby Farrell´s dance! he was so sexy! God bless his memory forever!

  • Bobby Farrell wird uns felhen

  • Super cette musique! Et quel merveilleux danseur. Que de souvenirs remonte à la surface en l'écoutant.

  • great, ciao Bobby...

  • Sempre siete stati i migliori grandi

  • Two thumbs up for the beard!

  • I don't care what style of music you like, anyone who says they don't like this are lying and secretly LOVE it. Come on, you know you do. ;)

  • Not just the music... the lyrics are well written..

    Brings back the Good memories..

  • the father of jumpstyle:D

  • @Tazwanted01 hahahahaha

  • It's my question or the vocal man is gay??

  • @JoeBmax either way its no longer relevant in civilised society.

  • @TheSaoirse777 Sorry. I'm not biased. Is that in the 70's, the fashion was to be happy. Nowadays fashion is be gay ...

  • asta se numeste muzica .Boney M the best !!!!!!!!!!!

  • beautiful song

  • What a fucking classic! who cares if the guy is on LSD dancing..lol

  • the mix dudi sharon made of this son is unreal as is the original!

  • want some of that black pussy

  • Oh, those Russians!

  • nice black womem mmmmmm

  • Ok - that's better! You should pull the incomplete one 'tho, so people don't get pissed...But thumbs up for this one. Great fun! :)

  • It's a great sing, Full of mysteris :-)

  • ellanor26 THIS was not Russian, if u have any brains, it was about Gregory Rasputin, German music by Dieter Bohlen, song by BONEY-M

    U engo-americans are so brainless.....

  • @zalimfrog

Rasputin is Russian, but ellanor26 already died. don't speak to him )))

  • My favorite song ever, and I wasn't even born, Just Brilliant!

  • Wow, I can't believe I only found this great Man a few days after he died. Groove on in the afterlife, Brother!

  • @Heptasmegistus By great man do you mean Bobby Farrell, the guy apparently singing?

Are you aware that he wasn't actually a singer and he just mimed, the lyrics being sung by Frank Farian, the bands creator. Bobby did look the part though and he was a good dancer (his trade).

  • @StNige The recorded versions were sung by Frank Farian but during the live concerts Bobby Farrell did the singing.

  • @StNige True, but what would Boney M have been without Bobby Farrell. Singing or not he was Boney M and is greatly missed.

  • @StNige Really? Thats crazy! I never knew that. When they played live was it all playback?

  • @fiskarensfisk According to wikipedia Bobby actually singed the lyrics when they performed live and that they where very open about frank singing the lyrics on everything recorded. Awesome.

  • @fiskarensfisk As I understand it Bobby did all the live performances, which is why they sound so different. More like gruff talking than singing. Still good though.

  • @StNige But he did sang at the live performances

  • i CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S DEAD

  • Brilliant ...

  • RIP Bobby you made this song with your dancing!

  • RIP van Nederland... bye bye Bobby thanks for Boney M

  • RIP thanks for the great songs take me back 30 years .

  • RIP :(

  • RIP Bobby Farrell T_______T

  • Was Ke$ha talking to him when she said " i like your beard" ? :L

  • and there was me thinking a black russian is a cocktail

  • Oh those Russians !!!! (WC 2018)

  • just so that you all know boney m was a contrived band by the same dudes behind milli vannili. that is not that black dudes voice singing

  • Must have listened to this song a million times when I was about twelve.Found it again by chance on you tube.Brings a teat to my eyes and lots of great memories.

  • Super, super, super. I love their songs

  • LOVE IT! LOVE IT! But can the audience members look any more bored?!!! lol

  • lo mejor de lo mejor

  • @demarch77 not 19th, Grigory Rasputin lived in 20th century, was killed in 1916.

  • I love groups like this who just sing about anything. Their historical details are even accurate. Can you imagine Britney Spears or Little Wayne singing about russian history?? No, they're too conventional and chicken shit to break the mold. That's what makes them so damn boring. Boney M rocks!

  • If you're canadian, like me, you'll also find it funny that the newscaster who says "With his drinking, lusting and hunger for power..." sounds just like Peter Mansbridge! Our CBC national news anchor. I can just picture him saying that. XD

  • GO RASPUTIN GO Russia's greatest love machine

  • epic

  • I'm Russian, and i absolutely love this song! :) <3

  • @Sunnyclouds09 Me too

  • Legend

Those frickin zombies sitting in the front were wasting good disco time. Wish I was there!

  • My history tracher played this for us about a week ago duing the ryssian revolution section anf uve listened to it at leadt50 times a day since

Ps. The version on the itunes store sucks

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I saw them perform this song on Soul Train.

  • are you lafing with the russian people rethurd.

  • russian crazy love machine;))

  • I'm not sure how it got to be this way, but it's become a tradition to play this at science fiction convention dances.

  • great song..10 very cool

  • haha i'm writing a paper on rasputin and i'm using the chorus as evidence about the popular belief that Rasputin and Alexandra were lovers. they weren't at all though

  • the guy reminds me of the black guy from heartbreak ridge.

  • hahaha yeah Bobby Farrell sure does look a lot like Mario Van Peebles!

  • This has to be one of the most melodic and perfectly arranged disco tunes of all time! Still sounds as fresh as it did back in '78. I was too young to understand the lyrics then, but listening to it now after all these years, I find some history lesson in it.

  • Awesome tune!! I just had to brush up on my Rasputin history on wikipedia after listening to this. Simply fascinating:)

  • einai tragoydi amerikanikis propagandas, alla einai kommatara!!!hails from Greece to Russia!!!

  • lol this song is kool xD :D

  • i like to go to russia!!!!!!!!

  • a mi me dicen rasputin jajajajaj...me comi a todas las minas de mi sucursal movistar jajajaj

  • He was a huge man.

  • It's a historical fact that Rasputin had a legendarily huge Penis. It was one of the reasons he was enormously popular with the ladies- plus he really did have a kind of magnetic personality

  • LOVEEE THISSS SONG :)

  • kie mi povas trovi la kanton pri 'Lute' de Boney M?

  • i love the song :)

  • ((( Boney M ))) ((( Boney M ))) ((( Boney M )))

  • alexandra is turning in her grave

  • oh man you are certainly right!

and although I HATE the line when they sing that he was her lover, I love this song!!!

    perfect disco number!

  • Best song to have sex XD hahaha

  • @MrDemonoidRage

Many Boney M songs are good for that.

  • @RevHyperclit Ha! You don't say. Just add Irina Spalko and a bottle of Vodka to the mix and shoot me dead hahaha

  • @MrDemonoidRage LMAO.......now do you think the ldies could keep up to that disco thrusts? hahahahaha....come on ladies....what do you think?........;)

  • i luv dis!!!!!

  • I love rasputinn :d Ra ra rasputin lover of Russian queen :D:D

  • I love this song <3 :D

  • very good

  • Pretty fur coats...except for lynx. Those girls are our friends!

  • the only one who still sings today is Liz Mitchell. She travels to Russia more than to anywhere. She made a whole new band under the name of Boney M. Sad that all original singers are gone or died.

  • No,he isn't,I guess.He's just on stage:-)

  • "Oh, those Russians..."

    Hahahahahahaha! That was amazing!!

    Great song!! Congrats! 10/10 :)

  • hey don wan now we have the Russian one

  • This song is just fantastic!!!!

  • I actually like this song.

    o.O

    :D

  • This song is one of my favorites when I was a child. I hate the band but loved their music. It sums up a chapter of russian revolution into a four-minute song. What a feat! Anyone who knows a song related to the fall of Hitler perhaps?

  • Thank you so moch for this video Povorin.

    Very nice MUY BUENO.

  • my history teacher played a pratical joke on the class the other day by having this song playing on a loop on a small music player hidden in a hole in the wall today. and played it real quitely the entire lesson. drove us all nuts

  • Rasputin is, by far, the most interesting bad guy in history to learn about. Awesome song, too.

  • um rasputin wasnt a bad guy. where do you get your info? he was a spiritual healer who was called in in a desperate attempt to heal tsar nicholas' son alexis who was the heir. ever since then, nicholas' wife kept him close cause he helped heal alexis and he gave her ideas for better russian policies and the reason he was considered 'bad' because nicholas' relatives were angry that he was influencing the tsar's rule more than they were.

  • I didn't really mean "bad". It's just that he's the most interesting "unscrupulous" guy in history to learn about. You know what I mean; he was dirty and had sex with everything that was female and had a pulse. Gandhi is the most interesting "good" guy.

  • hahahahaha i feel you

  • Ohhh the Russians

  • milk, milk, lemonade, tell me how is candy made?

  • that guy kinda funny haha =D

  • this song rocks!

  • He could preach the bible like a preacher

    Full of ecstacy and fire

But he also was the kind of teacher

Women would desire. LoLzzzzzzz. Really nice song.

  • This music puts me in the mood to eat some pussy!

  • Comment removed

  • whats with the crowd they are not even moving. Man you have to be a real stiff to not get in to it. i mean check out the CAT with the beard ,bad ass.

  • the guy has the beard of Rasputin.

  • By the way, can anybody explain what this beatinik phrase means?

  • "can anybody explain what this beatinik phrase means? "

    "Cat" -- person.

"Gone" -- hip, trendy, fashionable. Can also mean dead.

    Can ya dig it, daddy-o?

  • @Povorin There was a cat that was really gone.As I understant he was a cat,or he was "the man" and "really gone" implies he was "over the top" or way in "over his

head".There's people like that around still lots of them Benny Hinn perhaps always oppurtunists and players who take advantage and cause damage to countless. It's a great tune thanks for posting :)

  • Check your equipment and settings, ... the sound works fine!

  • Learn to turn on the sound JIVE ASS TURKEY!

  • hahaha WTF was that a fox scarf!

  • well than...

  • great song, and historically accurate too..

  • RA RA RASPUTIN Lover of the Russian queen They put some poison into his wine RA RA RASPUTIN Russia's greatest love machine He drank it all and he said "I feel fine" RA RA RASPUTIN Lover of the Russian queen They didn't quit, they wanted his head RA RA RASPUTIN Russia's greatest love machine And so they shot him till he was dead (Spoken:) Oh, those Russians...
  • "This man's just got to go!" declared his enemies

But the ladies begged "Don't you try to do it, please"

No doubt this Rasputin had lots of hidden charms

Though he was a brute they just fell into his arms

Then one night some men of higher standing

Set a trap, they're not to blame

"Come to visit us" they kept demanding

    And he really came

  • (Spoken:)

But when his drinking and lusting and his hunger

for power became known to more and more people,

the demands to do something about this outrageous

    man became louder and louder.

  • He ruled the Russian land and never mind the czar

But the kasachok he danced really wunderbar

In all affairs of state he was the man to please

But he was real great when he had a girl to squeeze

For the queen he was no wheeler dealer

Though she'd heard the things he'd done

She believed he was a holy healer

    Who would heal her son

  • There lived a certain man in Russia long ago He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow Most people looked at him with terror and with fear But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear He could preach the bible like a preacher Full of ecstacy and fire But he also was the kind of teacher Women would desire RA RA RASPUTIN Lover of the Russian queen There was a cat that really was gone RA RA RASPUTIN Russia's greatest love machine It was a shame how he carried on
  • I still love this song!!

  • 4ever

  • mrHaroldG2000.Thanks a bunch .Your info was very helpful.

  • Like the video.Just where did the group come from?

  • They were based in Germany and worked under Frank Farian, the same man who later discovered Milli Vanilli. Two of the group's three female members were from Jamaica, the other was from Montserrat and Bobby Farrell was from Aruba.

  • Did you mean to say INVENTED Milli Vanilli?

Frank Farian also invented the group Boney M as a front band to perform, Do You Wanna Bump? on television. Frank sang the lead male vocals on all of his (boney m) songs throughout the '70's. Bobby (who was sacked in '81) was finally allowed to record his vocals in the '80's. The group did actually sing the songs live onstage unlike Milli Vanilli who lip synced to vocal tracks and sadly paid a high price for it.

  • germany, this guy is still working in Amsterdam, lets all have a pint of whatever hes on if it keeps ya so fit

  • Hello... They are from Jamaica. I was much younger when they were very popular then..
