@MrGyrza I don't think it's necessarily that American (or European) game developers think that Russia is full of evil people who just want to conquer everything, it's more like Russia is the only large country whose military equipment is roughly on par with the West's. That's why even in, say, Battlefield 2 the Middle Eastern Coalition was using modern Russian equipment (T-90s and AK-100 series) - it keeps the sides in the games balanced.

I was just listening to the voice clips, and there's one really funny one that British tanks have that says "Man, what I wouldn't do for a burger right now...With extra chips, and a coke...". There's also an audio clip the British and German tanks say in exactly the same way (but in different languages, of course). The line was "Left! No, their left!"

@fredfrep1 None of the voice clips in this trailer are in the retail version of the game. Also, here's what I think they're saying (I'm bilingual, English is my native language):
0:45 isn't English for sure, it's definitely German (It's the German voice).
0:54 "Freigen(?) Sie Auf!" which means something like "Shoot it up" I can't figure out what the first word is, though. But the second phrase is definitely "Alles Klar." which means "All is good/okay".

yeah you were right the German word at 0:54 is definitely Alles Klar but the first phrase I heard from a native speaker is this "Schalten sie ihn aus!" or "Fragen Sie Auf!" but the translation doesnt make sense
@fredfrep1 I'm not sure exactly what they said, but I'm pretty sure "Fragen Sie Auf" means "Ask/question it up/out!" I'm guessing it's either from the Beta version (The Half-life series, for example, supposedly had loads of content not included in the final game), it was recorded just for the trailer (most likely) or it was recorded as a placeholder for the final game (but not in the Beta).

Yeah I agree with you, Half-Life 2 had some contents that were not there in the final release, but hopefully I try to find a WIC Deutsche Beta some where in google and try to extract but like you said, it could be in the beta possibly or just used in the trailer, damn...They need to release a World in Conflict 2 with updated engine, gameplay
@fredfrep1 Agreed, this game deserves a sequel. Also, I noticed on one of your comments you mention a cut-out patch, I think that removes the blood from the game (I think it's a law in Germany, if I recall correctly). Because in the version I have (the US English version with the Soviet Assault expansion pack) there's a tiny bit of blood if a unit gets shot (but it's only really noticeable if you're up close to the units).

The helicopters are Italian Agusta A129 Mangusta. In this video you can even heard the voice of a pilot saying in italian: "reconnaissance team, enemies just in front of us"

Not necessarily better, just with a differrent focus. The Bundesmarine doesn't hold a candle to the JMSDF in size or sophistication, just like the reverse is true between the JSDGF and Heer. And in the air, the JSDAF was traditionally a more concentrated on fighters while the Luftwaffe was foremost tactical support. It's the differrence between the frontline against the Warsaw Pact and an island nation.

@MrGyrza I don't think it's necessarily that American (or European) game developers think that Russia is full of evil people who just want to conquer everything, it's more like Russia is the only large country whose military equipment is roughly on par with the West's. That's why even in, say, Battlefield 2 the Middle Eastern Coalition was using modern Russian equipment (T-90s and AK-100 series) - it keeps the sides in the games balanced.

I was just listening to the voice clips, and there's one really funny one that British tanks have that says "Man, what I wouldn't do for a burger right now...With extra chips, and a coke...". There's also an audio clip the British and German tanks say in exactly the same way (but in different languages, of course). The line was "Left! No, their left!"

@fredfrep1 None of the voice clips in this trailer are in the retail version of the game. Also, here's what I think they're saying (I'm bilingual, English is my native language):
0:45 isn't English for sure, it's definitely German (It's the German voice).
0:54 "Freigen(?) Sie Auf!" which means something like "Shoot it up" I can't figure out what the first word is, though. But the second phrase is definitely "Alles Klar." which means "All is good/okay".
1:18 "Retreat!" (English)
1:34 No idea.

@fredfrep1 I'm not sure exactly what they said, but I'm pretty sure "Fragen Sie Auf" means "Ask/question it up/out!" I'm guessing it's either from the Beta version (The Half-life series, for example, supposedly had loads of content not included in the final game), it was recorded just for the trailer (most likely) or it was recorded as a placeholder for the final game (but not in the Beta).

@fredfrep1 Agreed, this game deserves a sequel. Also, I noticed on one of your comments you mention a cut-out patch, I think that removes the blood from the game (I think it's a law in Germany, if I recall correctly). Because in the version I have (the US English version with the Soviet Assault expansion pack) there's a tiny bit of blood if a unit gets shot (but it's only really noticeable if you're up close to the units).

Not necessarily better, just with a differrent focus. The Bundesmarine doesn't hold a candle to the JMSDF in size or sophistication, just like the reverse is true between the JSDGF and Heer. And in the air, the JSDAF was traditionally a more concentrated on fighters while the Luftwaffe was foremost tactical support. It's the differrence between the frontline against the Warsaw Pact and an island nation.
