One the greatest "garage" bands ever.....yet to see them live is horribly boring. When Black Francis became Frank Blank....his first solo album is one of the best albums I've ever heard. The Pixies were a club band at best.....Frank produced a solo album that made them look like amateurs....which they were. The Breeders? Gimme a break! Santiago is fairly adept at guitar,,,the drummer is very good, But overall the Pixies suck. Had all their albums, just my opinion.

If you love the Pixies this is hard to watch. It's equal parts awesome and depressing but totally worth watching.

To be fair, I very much doubt a band like Pixies who are SO a-political and care about their fans ALOT (Trust me I can vouch for that having been to nearly 10 shows) would pull out of a rare gig unless their safety was threatened. I notice Elvis Costello, LCD Soundsystem and Gorrilaz arn't getting as much of a slagging off. Give them a break.
