i love the sound effects lol! I love your pics! It's fun to hear about your stories and your passions and nice to see the interest runs in the family. Good music at the end too! Take care, love you Grandpa!
You remind me alot of my husband. His love of motorbikes and off road racing etc. Wonderful recollections, its so nice to see such happiness. Take Care Grandpa.
Dear Sir, as a fellow motorcyclist it was great to listen to your recollections of your biking experiences, especially your first ever ride on that BSA. Biking seemed so much more involved back then that it is now with modern bikes. I was nodding in agreement when you were talking about the membership and brotherhood of biking. It's good to hear you still ride! Take care.
I love you!!! You are so interesting and I really enjoy your blogs. Good luck with the zimmerband and the documentary. Its nice to hear that good things actually do happen for nice people.
saw you on the who recording...brillant idea ..am pestering my Dad to get onto Youtube...but he's so 'ACADEMIC' that he can't get a handle of how it works....Tell me what you think is a clever person...I have rows with my husband and he says I'm stupid or so and so is stupid, yet he is useless at some things himself...although great at remembering peoms, stories, historic dates, language,etc..
your videos are the only videos i realy sit through and like. you are the most interesting person on youtube. did you get in any accidents on your bike?
Thanks to Geriatric, I was pleasently reminded of my own, much later, motorcycle adventures in Germany beginning in 1960. Thank you for that, enjoyed your story immensely!
I love your videos and your stories and I would love to hear you talk about World war II, and how it was to be in England during that dreaded war. I would also like to ask you if you believe in the Paranormal and Reincarnation also?
I enjoy your videos very much, thank you for sharing. I never got to record my grandparents conversations with me. Thank you so much for giving us a glimpse into your life! :)
Lovely Peter.... Thanks. I sometimes have my students listen to you. Dual Core Motive. I teach English as a second language and your English really lovely. And.... You've got somthing to say that is worth listening to.

Happened the same way to me. But I was about 20. Friend out of town, found his little Honda 400cc bike in the garage. Coudn't resit temptation and got on it.First time I ever rode a motorcycle. Rode it all over b4 I got caught by the police. Cop was nice though, let me off the hook. Been addicted to bikes ever since!
Hi Peter: I remember my first motorcycle experiences too. Dad left his bike (a DKW 350cc) at home when he went on a trip and I rode it. What fun. Our bikes were 2 cycle jobs though; yours must have been 4 cycle? At age 70 I took up flying and I am hooked.

Loved your trials pics. One of them looked like you were carrying a 'Scottish 6 days' number and the another looked like it was a national. Did you ever ride our local national, the Bemrose in the Peak District?
Peter, I have had to interrupt listeni9ng to you to say that I heve experienced exactl the same thrill of starting an ancient bike. You descriptiion of the event summed it up completely. Ok I'm going to listen to the restr now.
Judging from the poor quality of you YouTube-Id and your evident inabillity to judge a video like this in an honest way, you must be in urgent need of professional help.
Hi Peter...It seems I am the only one who was happy that you gave us a bit of a break between videos. It allowed me to catch up with all your previous ones !
Now I have seen them all :)
And here you came back with another interesting & well done blog. Thank you for sharing, Peter!
I can definitely relate to your stories; and I agree, riders do stick together and help each other out. I've had many experiences of this.
I rode in a run of 15 000 bikes once, which was simply amazing - we owned the road that day, all cars stopped to let us pass, and cops turning a blind eye as we broke speed limits!
I loved the picture of the motorcycle. I'm suprised you didnt post a video about them earlier! I can tell how much you like them! Where are the tattoos!? Just Kidding!
I am intrigued with your voice. It is so charasmatic and calm. Years back I suffered a debillitating mental depression and would listen to David Attenborough narate nature programs. You remind me very much of his quiet and compassionate voice. God Bless You!
...and yours respectively, I was reacting to how I felt about something I'd read, your comment is an inane reatort. Why would you want to defend the above anyway?.
So were you commenting on peter's video directly or to another person's comment? YouTube's layout makes it difficult to know a lot of the time.
If your comment wasn't a direct response to the posted Vblog, then ignore mine and accept my apology. What is the 'above' you are referring to? A previous comment or the video?
I was initially responding to the person criticising Peter (who's videos I adore). "The above" was a reference to the comment I was responding to. I think we misunderstood each other and I apologise for any confusion. I agree the comments layout needs some alteration :)
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and stories. I thoroughly enjoy them... I too have been riding Motorcycles since I was 12. Some of my nicest memories have been while riding. I wish you well my friend.
It seems I was wrong, because you just put up 14 minutes, and the amazing atheist got 29 minutes up. I got that information from another youtuber, so sorry if I was mislead.
Your experiences in life are truely...amazing. The struggle that people had to go through in World War 2, many of today's youth do not know that. They are just spoiled by their video games and their rubbish rap nowadays...they don't know what kind of struggle happened in the past. Peace man.
another cracker from you ;) I might have been the opposite of you as my first go on a bike seemed to have stopped my passion for them :D but I found passion in other things
So good to see you again Peter! I've missed you--and who is that young ruffian at the beginning riding that Satan's whelp from hell! I'll bet he turned a bad way and was the bane of morality and the darling of all the "adventuresome" womenfolk!! AND RIGHTFULLY SO! [:-)
Peter I really love this story especially the part about when you were 11 and driving the bike up and down the lane. Good to see a video from you again! Take care.
A English/British/UK person and no accent? A god? Maybe! :P [Hey one time can you say the most common briitish phrase used in britian in a vide? "Ye Mate, would ye like a cuppa tea and ah crumpet?"
England and Britain as a whole is home to about 100 or 200 VERY different accents. Same goes for most countries, however I can't really tell the differences between US accents apart from the obvious new york, jew jersey, deep south and californian ones.
Blessed once again by your memories... keep on keepin on Peter - we all cherish the smile that your videos inevitably bring to our lips... I doubt very much that you would run the risk of finding a lack of enthusiastic voyeurs to share your experiences with no matter how trivial the incident may appear to you. To mussing and ramblings cheers!

That motorcycle story reminded me of the time my mother

I drove it up and down several times. Had the car not
started I don't think I'd be driving a taxi today. It's
all about your passion, I agree. I should be starting

A English/British/UK person and no accent? A god? Maybe! :P [Hey one time can you say the most common briitish phrase used in britian in a vide? "Ye Mate, would ye like a cuppa tea and ah crumpet?"

There are various accents in England, Zeecron - just like in the US! Peter's I think is kind of South Coast Dorset, rather than metropolitan.

More of an east coast Norwich kind of thing I fancy. Keep up the good work Peter and enjoy yourself. Best wishes, Robert

England and Britain as a whole is home to about 100 or 200 VERY different accents. Same goes for most countries, however I can't really tell the differences between US accents apart from the obvious new york, jew jersey, deep south and californian ones.

You know everyone always says you're a good storyteller, which you are, but you also have good editing skills. Keep them coming, Please

FYI Peter, I believe the term you were looking for to describe the musical pattern being played on the guitar is 'Walking Bass(line)'.
