It's not like being some monkey on the line at Ford, where any idiot with grade 6 can step in and pick up the job. I really hope that the strike ends soon, so that everyone can get back to school, but it can't come at the price of gutting the future of the University.

I know exactly what you're going through. I was a student at UofW during the last strike that they had. I know first hand that you'll get your education, but I also know first hand that the Profs deserve to be paid a competitive wage, or the University will lose the talented professors that they have. There are so few people qualified to be a University Professor, that the loss of even one is a tragedy.

You're an idiot. Of course they strike in September, because that's when the most pressure is on administration to do something constructive to avoid a prolonged strike. If they had gone on strike in July the administration would have done nothing and they'd still be on strike. Think about it a bit before you go off sounding like a moron. You're still going to get your education. Though from the tone and presentation of your video, maybe you should think about Ford instead of University.

u dont understand wat we students are going thru....we work our asses offf to payy the uni soo we can get a decent education... i understand the proffs or w/e don get paied enough but they should think bout us 2 rit i mean they atleast they hav a job n they get paid decent money....there are soo many job losses in windsor i know so many ppl who get laid off n they would be thankfull 4 any kinda job....i juss hope ican get back to skool :(

They shouldn't even have to strike. BEGIN talks in July, and by 2 months, they could achieve something--at least so we don't miss 3 weeks of school (or more).

The semester probably won't be cancelled, but the quality of my education has undoubtedly been compromised.
