  • porsche real work of art!

  • Sigh... another 911 to dream about. Great review though!

  • Yellow 911 is great sport car look

  • these days automakers make cars even uglyer

  • whisking frodo to the shire hahaha dont forget the tissues

  • Great review actually! Very excited about this 911... Increased wheelbase is nice, like the 7 speed actually for cruising (VIR is a 5 hour drive for me ;) everything about this car is better than the 997 except maybe the steering feel... Hope it's still the same lock to lock ratio

  • The 911 is probably the.classiest sports car out there

  • This 911 looks like the best 911 to date.... Absolutely love it... :) :) :)

  • You're a great reviewer, and the 991 looks stunning in yellow. Just wonderful!

  • @vitto The GTR is a force fed, rice burning, robot car. I will take a rear engine, rear wheel drive, naturally aspirated Porsche over any other sports car any day of the week. The 911 has more soul than any car the Japanese will ever produce. It's a legend and retiring it is the most absurd idea I have ever heard of. No offense GTR fanboys :D

  • @mikeyb793 I agree with you completely, even being a huge GTR fan myself. Plus I love the Porsche's exhaust note and even though its pricey, Its probably the one I'd buy if I could afford both. Personally I prefer something that's sporty but can also be smooth and comfortable when you want it to be and the GTR isn't very good at that

  • The 2012 R35 GTR is a beast..Porche should be considering retire the 911 for the Cayman which have a way better weight distribution..(the engine is not in the wrong place like in the 911)

  • thanks for that wonderful review! ^^

  • Good review

  • German cars just rip you off on the options.

  • Manual all the way

  • in my childhood i used to play NFS5 (porsche unleashed) ever since then i have feeling for porsches :)

  • @tven99 me too!!!!

  • Awesome video. I love it when you guys do videos other than your tradition style, especially the updates (kia soul).

  • I dont care if the PDK transmission is faster or smoother, GIVE ME THE MANUAL!! :D

  • Dropping the engine down to idle on coasting makes no sense as far as economy. Most newer cars already use decel fuel cutoff regardless of engine speed. That's why clutching in a manual transmission won't save fuel, since some has to be injected to keep the engine from stalling. When you are just coasting in gear, the engine keeps turning via the wheels and no fuel needs to be injected at all.

  • @autoxerwgn Finally, someone else that agrees / knows about riding the clutch =p

  • @autoxerwgn Disabling the clutch = no engine braking. Yes the system will use fuel to keep the engine idling, but I presume Porsche Engineers found it to save more fuel over the length of a trip (compared to engine braking, causing the car to slow down, and then using more fuel to get back to desired speed).

  • @Emerald13 I'm sure that they found that it does something for better MPG's but it seems excessive. I wonder if they could just open the electronic throttle 100% when coasting to stop the engine braking effect. As annoying as it is, at least engine start/stop makes more sense.

  • at last they changed the weard old gear shifters on the wheel by more logical f1 style padle shifters

  • Anyone else think a 7MT is too many gears?

  • @saboobuu they are and so is 8 spd automatic. Nobody will ever engage the 7th gear even on the highway. Whats the point of it?

  • @rforracing Exactly...

  • @rforracing Ppl driving at 250+ on Autobahn in Germany will :D

  • Love this car!!!

  • Good job KBB! This was a fantastic review!

  • One day, I suspect in about 10 years, a video will be uploaded about a car, and hopefully everyone won't start banging on about the GT-R

  • new school

  • No other 6 cylinder will ever sound as good as Porsche's flat 6.

Best sounding Porsche, IMO, GT3 RS 4.0.

  • Great car, average review - Boring.

  • First Porsche interior I like.. Interesting.

  • Great video

  • ofc you can please everyone, everyone loves Porsche.

  • Why am I watching this, is not like I'm going to own one of these anytime soon

  • I think this looks much better than the old one.

  • The 991 looks too nice, I like the new changes

  • 7 speed manual...THAT IS BAD ASS!!!!!

    i love driving stick shifts!!!

  • this is my realistic dream car...forget lambos and ferraris

  • They all look the same...

  • @Rodolcort if it aint broke

  • i drove a 914. wonderful steering, not much punch in the one i drove, 914 4 with the 2 litre bus motor. but wonderful steering feel and great handling promise.

  • i miss the 914

  • i would buy a porsche certainly . i really like german cars. porsche gt2rs. omg. that is one sick car. i would kill my self with it though

  • @BumbleBeeGS Misquoted. The new 991S is reportedly 14 sec faster around the ring, but Porsche estimates that 4 sec of that is due to PDCC alone.

  • Really good review

  • I envy your job so much

  • I like it.

  • 4 SECONDS, not 14

  • $83k?? GTR.

  • @RX7GLORY GTR?? Boring.

  • 5:43. Now thats why the engine's in the back, talk about amazing traction for a 2 wheel drive car.

  • @TheCarVlogger The GT-R is an embarrassment to the car world. Real cars have a manual transmission and RWD. If I want to press buttons to change gear, I'll buy Gran Turismo 5.

  • @marshknute ..... WHAT?! Lol. This is probably the worst argument about "Why i think the GT-R isn't actually better than a lot of cars" that i have read. I mean, is the GT-R the only car with a duel clutch? No! Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, almost all modern hyper cars come automatic. But woah, GT-R is auto? Better knock it down a peg for that. So go ahead, hate on it. I doubt you can afford one anyways.

  • @nexorabolis I never said it wasn't better than a lot of cars. It is a technological masterpiece that shows just what is possible in a road car. That said, no duel-clutch system in the world is as fun as a manual. Look up the program "World Class Driving." I signed up last year and drove a Gallardo, 599, R8, Continental Supersport and SLR. The most fun car I drove that day was my track-modified Mazda Miata. I have respect for Porsche for continuing to build proper driver's cars.

  • PDCC cuts 4 sec per lap off Ring time, not 14.

  • loud button, lolol :D

  • yeeeaahh baby! FULL HD!

  • A 7 speed is not unlike having a guitar amp that goes up to 11.

  • let the MANUAL live on! :D

  • Soon will be 8 speed shift.

  • Nice, 7- speed stick.

  • For now, I'm the guy who thinks they did too much to the rear end, but I think it'll grow on me

  • well done, thanks for agreat review

  • I guess the Germans running Porsche took the words of an infamous German when naming their cars.

    "Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein! Nein!"

  • very nice

  • just watching this makes my heart beat faster. *_* wow...

  • Good >>

  • 997 WHO!?!

  • Drop the voice over and talk to the camera - Guy has the personality for it.

  • Amazing review, Micah really pulls out all the stops like a pro.
