@merlijn1998 You might have a different version of RCT3, or your graphics card may not support that feature.

@jamaka2001 I'll assume you meant to ask "how" to use a greenscreen/bluescreen. If that is really your question, then the answer would be for you to use a video editing or compositing program.

Right. We're almost on the same page. The thing is, you said that you understand how recording videos in RCT3 works. If you really did understand RCT3's recording, then you would know that the reason that it looks so fast in the video is because of the way in which RCT3 records video.

When you record a video in RCT3, the FPS drops to around 2. Yet, when the video is done recording, it plays back perfectly. You see, RCT3 doesn't record the pauses. They happened, but they weren't recorded.

@Dragonicafan Oh... Well, the reason that it looks like I am able to build track very quickly is because RCT3's in game recorder does not record lag. So, in the part of the video where I build that track very quickly, it actually didn't go that quickly. It actually took a few seconds per frame.

@Dragonicafan Well, eventually you just get used to the FCR Editor. I mean, it's not that hard to just move the camera, press a button, move the camera again, press a button... That's pretty much what I do.

#1: Yes, that is supposed to happen.

#2: If your graphics menu is different, it is most likley because you have an expansion pack. Unfortunatley, I only have the basic RCT3, so I can't help you with this.

Unless you have not turned the graphics all the way up, there is no way to make it look more realistic.

Go to

Game options>Visual settings

And then Check the box labeled "Reflective water."

If that doesn't work then it means you probably have a really bad graphics card, in which case you will not be able to make it look any different.

I want to do that but there is no box in mine that says that, and i wanted to fix my graphics by seeing what boxes you checked but 1/2 those boxes aren't even on my graphics options.

when i go to game options then graphics settings the only thing there is screen resoluvtion and quality. I have platnium. before i had my laptop vista i used to play it on my dads desktop and the draw distance was tehre and i could change it. but when i go tmy laptop draw distane isnt there so like when im maybe about 100-200ft away from peeps and scenery they disappear

This has been the biggest issue with this tutorial. Different versions of RCT3 have different menus. The version that I cover in this tutorial is the vanilla version (no expansion packs)

Unfortunatley, I cannot help you if you have a problem because of platinum, Wild, Soaked, etc.

Both of those are the same thing. Usually a chroma key (green-screen) effect is in the video editor.

I use Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus.

That is where the built in particles are. You put them here in order to use them as a firework:

You probably have an extension pack, right? Either "Soaked!" "Wild!" "Gold" or "Platinum"? That would be the reason that your interface is different. I have the regular RCT3, with no expansion packs.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything I can do. Sorry.

Not "My Documents."

And the folder that has the files you should copy is "ParticleEffects," not "Particles."

I use Video Studio 11, which has green screen, but I am pretty sure you can do it with version 10 as well. It should work if you add a video to Video track #2 (or any track under track #1), then click on the "mask and chroma key" button, then check the "apply overlay options" box.
