  • This tune never gets old. I love the new section at 2:30, just brilliant.

  • I love it how no body can say somthing wrong about him because he is just perfect :D i love his music :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • EXCEENTE!

  • apoteosico... grandisimo directo.

  • Funky stuff.

  • かっこいい

  • you ask me what i think about phil collins ill have only 10 words to say to them

no words can desbribe how amazing he is at music

  • This tune has always sent a chill up my spine. So strong and powerful. Full of life!

  • I was there ! Fantastic Show.

  • Phil is the law

  • It is Nathan East !!!!

  • @franz443 the best.

  • this song makes me love my life and it makes me so happy. Actually all of his songs are drop dead best!

  • ay va el hombre orquesta,

  • This is such a great song. The drums, the rhythmn, the horns, the groove. What as great melody.

  • What I really like is how this tune has evolved in its live version - all the extra brass parts, Daryl's filigreeing, and the extra little winds and twists it takes as a whole in the later stages. Brilliant.

  • Simply...AMAZING!!!!

  • Is that the Great Nathan East on bass?

  • This is actually a great Fusion tune! Phil should write more fusion now:)

  • i think phil is the best drummer in the world love his music

  • Ive heard that Phil cant play drums anymore because of his problems with his back? is this true?? if so, its a great loss to us drummers.. Phil is a VERY good drummer.. He is a very surprising drummer! The things he does with Genesis, like Firth of Fifth, is unbelievable! Phil Collins, is both, a good singer and a great drummer!!

  • @nistelkvist It is true...and very sad indeed.

  • @nistelkvist It is true...and very sad indeed.

  • Quoting from Wikipedia: In September 2009, it was reported that Collins could no longer play drums, due to a recent operation to repair dislocated vertebrae in his neck. (continues)

  • However, a statement from Collins on the Genesis band website said, "There isn't any drama regarding my 'disability' and playing drums. Somehow during the last Genesis tour I dislocated some vertebrae in my upper neck and that affected my hands. (continues)

  • After a successful operation on my neck, my hands still can't function normally. Maybe in a year or so it will change, but for now it is impossible for me to play drums or piano. I am not in any 'distressed' state, stuff happens in life." (End of quote)

  • Love this song! Thanks poster!

Makes me laugh though, as loads of drum instructors would say phil shouldn't do this and he shouldn't do that while playing!

Erm, who's the rich man muti million pound multi single and album seller and who's still the teacher? LOL

  • you're welcome, I'm curious, you spoke of something he shouldn't do while playing... what's that he did ???

  • @nik0la007 Well my old drum tutors would say he uses his arms way too much instead of using wrists and fingers on this song. But we all know that is crap. When playing live you always put more in the show rather than technique ;-)

  • exactly... I'm a drummer too and if it's something pretty easy to play like this song, it's nice to show off a bit =)

  • @nik0la007 I agree, but Phi does two hour shows, you can't use your arms drumming for that long ;-)

  • that's why he plays only for about 20 minutes max. in a show =)

but sure, you need to be in very good shape to use your arms that long

  • @nik0la007 I play drums, have been for only a couple of years, I can play 3, 4 hours straight. I'm sure Phil could do that before his backinjury aswell...

  • I never said he couldn't .... that great guy spent couple years of his life , literally, playing the drums :)

  • I love how all of the musicians are having fun throughout the performance!

  • UNREAL!!! Always one of my favourite Phil tracks, such a beautiful, happy feeling, and this version absolutely rips it up -- the horns are thrilling. Thanks.

  • you're welcome, I'm glad you like it =)

  • This song saved my life - for real.

  • really??? how??

  • so smooth...great brass! :D thak you for sharing...love this!

  • you're welcome, I'm glad you like it =)

  • A powerfully, uplifting song, full of LIFE! Thanks for posting!!

  • you're welcome, enjoy!

  • I keep coming back to this video! So wonderful!

  • I couldn't agree more! An absolute jam. Phil at his best, his peak-so full of energy, inclusive of all instrument w/ emphasis on brass and drums. Before Phil "muzakked" out, he put out some of the jammingest tunes I ever heard, and still listen to repeatedly to this day. This, in my opinion, is his absolute best. My favorite!

  • it is wonderful, I know!! :D

    thanks for commenting

  • Awe...Look at Phil smile. He's in his happy place! LOL you can tell that this is really what he wants to do with his time.

  • totally =)

    thanks for your comment!

  • fantastic horns section sound

  • @jembozzo hell yeah! Harry Kim and Dan Fornero on trumpet

  • @jembozzo best of the best

  • Superb! I've seen several videos from various years/tours of this, my favorite Phil Collins song. But this one is maybe the best-much more dynamic, and a feast from so many angles of the performance. Why Collins didn't stick w/ this early formula that included some of the best drumming and brass, certainly in his solo career, much less in rock music in general, is anyone's guess. This is the soundtrack from the best years of my concert attending life.

  • Haha 5:50 FTW

  • smart

  • 'c'est bon'; XD

    Cool Music, I love it.

  • man these horns ripping it up

just a pleasure. great song, great band, phil collins is the go =)

  • BTW, the end of this live version reminds me of the progression at the beginning of Phish's tune "Run like an Antelope."

  • This is a nice version - nice, hippy, laid-back Phil music...sweet.

Nice to See Ronnie there as well.

  • I am wondering if brass section play unison(one tone) or chords? Does anyody can hear it?

  • From my hearing, one note (one tone). There maybe a slight gracing of notes (1/2 tone either side) making semi runs.

    Great tune

  • Talented oro musicians playing good music, simply the best.

  • cool horns!

  • Hallo! Sauber! Mehr davon!

  • WOW how awesome! They were in Frankfurt but my Mom took my brother with her :,(

If I hear music like this, I want to make music by my own!!!

  • thanks for your positive comments, best regards =) Nikola....

  • Harry Kim is there, He is from Phoenix horns

  • Nice job. But it's just not the same without the Phenix Horns...sorry :(

  • thx, yep i know... they were the best with phil live...

  • The best Musician of the world music history

  • Phil Collins is the best!

  • AMAZING. I would have to say that this is my favorite PC song EVER! :D
