@Lickmyballs718 he got this way by learning to clean carpet -the swinging of that heavy carpet wand built up strength in his wrist so he could do these great runs and stretches...

It's an Ibanez USA Custom from '90. The wood is Mahogany, Flame Maple top, Honduras Rosewood and Birdseye Maple neck. The pickups are EMG 89.

wow, I first heard this like three or four years ago. There was this realtime video on derryl's website, it was an excerpt from this piece, 02:22 to about 03:42. This part sounds damn great, the rest is rather, a bit too shred-oriented for my tastes.

That's some of the best phrasing I've heard, many phrases remind me of Holdsworth, and that's a high complement. Unfortunately, I hate the backing track; I'd rather hear the lines played against a metronome, or better still, a kickass fusion band.
