QUESTION- How long should one wait for the 2nd and subsequent infusions? Currently I brew 3 mins for each infusion leaving 1/4 "root" for each.
I sometimes enjoy these separately or combine them in one tall glass sipping it over time. Either way, I infuse one right after the other. If I wait too long before infusions I find the leaves stew and get a grassy, strong vegetal aroma/taste.
@fiifan You likely don't have hot enough water. The water should be approx. 80C or 175F. A good indicator of the proper temperature is when little bubles are rising up to the surface of the hot water, but not violently.
