@YZ85110AWS I didn't think they made a "high-compression" piston for these bikes. You have to get the cylinder head milled to bump the compression. Anyways, we run a 50/50 mix of c12 race fuel and pump gas. The bike in this race is stock. In later videos we are running a 105cc supermini in addition to the stock bike.

@motocross223Tanner Less teeth on the rear sprocket will give a little more top end speed but will take away bottom end power. Unless you are on a CRF150R these little bikes have little to no bottom end power. Most people add teeth to the rear for better accelleration. YZ85's come with a stock 47 tooth sprocket. We went to a 49 tooth sprocket for better accelleration.

@motormx With the stock gearing we clocked 66mph across a field with GPS. On hard pack it might be 2-3mph higher. We run ours with a 49tooth rear sprocket with lowers the top speed to low 60's. We rarely use much less top out 6th gear in a race. Most of the race is 2nd through 5th gear.

That was the guy leading the race. He just went into the corner a little too hot and his front end dug into the corner and he went down. Then he had a tough time getting his bike restarted. He finished this race in third place and went on to win the second moto. His 3,1 finish got him second place overall for the
